    Barakallahu feek
This is probably the best explanation I have seen on this topic and it is very concise
The shaykh puts words together beautifully and he knows how to convey his points
    May Allah preserve him.

Assalamu Alykom Akhi. Do you have any arabic websites where there are Hanbali Usool al Fiqh books with Sharh or Shuroohaat of Scholars of our generation or the generation before us?
Maybe websites of particular Mashaykh or specific books you would know.

حفظ الله الشيخ وبارك في صاحب القناة.
But an argument can be made that what will be done if -إن شاء الله- an Islamic Khilafah returns ? Will slavery still be abandoned?
Another way is that closing the door of slavery will also come with some cons such as the Kuffar will not be exposed to Islam as they were used to before by living among Muslims.
All these things I said are conditioned to the 'If' I mentioned.

The khilafah is a Islamic system so obviously slavery will always be there because it is legislated in Islam. I have never heard of khilafah true out our history in which Muslims didn’t apply slavery. It was always part and parcel of the khilafah.
Also slavery has never really stopped it’s just it has taking different forms in modern day times then what slavery used to be.

@@mariotak4632 well in terms of islamic terminology, slavery has been abolished. But what Shaikh Shuwair is saying is partly true that Islam has narrowed down the path to slavery and encouraged freeing them but still didnt abolished it completly. What I am trying to say is if Islam didnt abolished slavery completely then that itself should have a Maslahah(which can discussed). Because if Allah wanted to abolish it then he would have done so.
