I'm pretty dissapointed wkth the fyre slayer model, it looks good, but the problem is that if wasn't leaping the untrained eye wouldn't be able to separate it from the rest of the army, and that's the biggest problem facing the Fyreslayers, just a lack of diversity, really wish they'd use some of the other dwarf themes to make special versions, give some cloaks and you can get the ranger version of slayers, make some smaller salamanders and you can get some cav for then, or what is essentially a salamander version of a flame cannon, as a character model it's about what you could hope for in uniqueness for the army, (unless he was mounted) but it still feels like a lost opportunity
I find GW just doesn't make good dwarves all round. I do really like the Votann psyker and some of the Kharadron Overlords, but overall I would love to see something like you've suggested with the Rangers.
I definitely agree! think some smaller Magmadroths mid-sized cavalry around size of a dracoline or karkadrak would be perfect for the Fyreslayers. They already had 5-6 single on-foot characters. Missed opportunity for sure.
Wants the new FEC and GSG heroes. Looks at my 60+ ghouls, 12 horrors, 12 flayers. Looks at my Palooza, 48 Squig Herd, 20 Hoppers, 20 Bounderz. Yeah no thanks. I’ll just wait GW. That Ironjawz model though! Makes me want to start up an army for them.
The squigg wearing mini looks great, I am working on building a 2023 night goblin army to play classic Warhammer and likely using new models like these.
For the "Free fiction" - During Broken Realms (The event lead up to 3.0) They did short stories on Warhammer Community, i think each week? Basically setting up little narratives from various factions perspectives. Like the very first one was an orc shaman having a vision of a giant hoofed beast galloping across the sky leading all of Destruction to war (That we would learn later was a vision of Kragnos). So i imagine they're doing something like that again.
god i love the cities so much, the calvalry is even better than the troops! strange you say its too old world as most of the fantasy fans dont like the new cities. And the big pig my god. Im gonna start ironjawz and gitz together. I think i actually prefer the cav to the pig maybe. I hope iron jawz get more later on, dont like the ardboys
The chaos guy actually looks better than the art work! That’s crazy I almost never see that. I hope they continue to capture that darkness for some factions
Omfg!!! These are awesome!!! I’m hype for the Fyreslayer no matter what, and …. maw Krusha is huge yes! I’ll consider it the AOS’s version of Ork’s Kill Rig
@@tabletopskirmishgames they have so many cool stuff as well their underworlds models look fun and i wish they were cheaper to get same for the kruleboyz and goodluck playing with them on the table ^^
Nothing at all today, but they did say there will be 12 new models all together of the book range. We saw 4 so out of the other 8 we could get a new Sylvaneth character. Saying that, though, we have already had a regiments of renown so hard to say.
Sorry but if people are playing cities of sigmar its cause they liked oldhammer, if the models look like that they are gonna appeal to the fans of that faction. Love the updates on waehammer fest thanks for all the videos
Ok first off: holy (bleep)!!! Those look AWESOME!!!!!!!! Second: I agree with you about the cavaliers. Third: my son is going nuts over the gitz guy Forth: …. That pig is AWESOME
I dont know what i was expecting, but I guess I'm not all that impressed. I guess we did just get a major range refresh for the Serephon which was brilliant, but the actual new stuff we saw today didn't excite me. 😮💨
I started playing it properly a few months ago and I love it, it's my favourite game at the moment. The rules are written so well, and it's fun ho you can react in your opponents turn. Double turn opportunities are fun too, and with the combat mechanics, it doesn't have as big an effect as you might think. Going second has some big advantages too. I'll do a video soon going over why I like it so much. Definitely recommend giving it a go!
@@titanosaurdy9493ge of Sigmar is an awful game. Great models, abysmal rules. GW games are, for the most part, the worst "games" you can invest your time and money into (let's hope 10th changes this). The lore is so terrible that they're apparently giving it away free. There's no central narrative and there is nothing to make you feel a connection to their "mortal realms". I've tried to get into AoS on multiple occasions but it's just so bad. The double turn makes the game completely unplayable. I played Daughters of Khaine because I loved the Dark Elves from the Old World. Old Lore: Elves had a civil war, Dark Elves build black arks and colonize the western continents. They ride dinosaurs and celebrate all holidays with murder. Their king Malekith bangs his own mom who is a powerful scorceress. All male magic users are killed due to a prophecy. AoS Lore: Slaanesh farted in his sleep and now there are mutant elves in a realm of shadow. They like mist and shadow and snakes. Malekith is a god or something now... Doesn't matter because they made his mom a pretty cool model so no one needs/wants a Malekith now.
Where are the lances? How are those more mercenary-like horsemen comparible with the Knightly Orders? I fear this will be the "knights" the Empire will get for The Old World and I am glad that I got enough of the classic ones
They started reducing extra books required for 40k because they know people hate having rules in multiple places. Seems like they are doubling down on the required books for AOS. Odd choice.
Shoutout to the Harbinger of Decay for being a Frank Frezetta reference.

I’m really excited for the Freeguild miniatures. Im hoping for a starter box with them in it later this year, when their book comes out.
Hope the Frazetta estate doesn’t sue them for the Harbinger of Decay. The horse and pose is straight swipe of the Death Dealer. Brilliant model tho!
Wow they again hide one single model in boxes with minis which everyone has already
Shouldn't be too long to wait for the singles, but yeah this sucks if you already have the armies

Working towards building a Cities of Sigmar army and these new cavalry models will definitely be added love the new aesthetic to COS
I can see that new Old World Paladin fitting right in too

They did a great job on that, so cool to have a boned out squig suit!

They remembered Ironjawz exist! And my full pig list is no longer a pipe dream!
This is one of my favourite models ever, I can't wait to get it. Just saw another picture with extra armour around the snout - perfection! 🥳
The best mini is, by far, the Bretonian Paladin, which I will use for my CoS
The heads of the horses are out of proportion for the scale...JEEZ.

I like the look of those dorfs.
You know considering the new canpaign books, I’m really hoping that one of them is dedicated to the rats
New models for them too!
2:10 Comedy gold 🤣 It’s so relatable 😂
my Fav reveal was Slayers and Nurgle for AoS. And ofc the return of Old World stuff
the mood to start a gloomspit gitz army is huge right now q.q
but imma already get the 10th ed launch box
I'll be building a moon shrine next month then giving them a go in the table. Fun to play them in Warcy and the rules for AoS look fun too.

Anyone see an end game for aos... new edition? Like arks of omen was for 40k 9th.

It started slow and got better as the reveal went on for sure. I wonder how I would feel without the giant pig? 🐽
@tabletopskirmishgames I'm uninterested in Free Cities, Orcs, or Goblins so that may be coloring my opinion. 😅
I want the big pig. I want it now.
More Ironjaws for my pile of shame!

Oh no!! Maybe just get 6 of these and go for a fresh 2k!?
