I generally chit on a piece of damp kitchen roll in a pot with lid. I've had poor germination of my courgettes and butternut squash this year, so I put some of the packet into a pot into the propagator. I've now planted out those that have chitted. I've never thought of chitting sweetcorn. I may just chit the rest of the packet so i've got some spares as I've a few gaps. Chitting - good idea. You forgot to mention we need a warm summer for good sweetcorn as well 😁

I had a great harvest last year, it was part of a 3 sisters technique, all grew really well. Not started it yet this year as i need the big cell tray that the beans are still in 😂. Great video.👍👌😁

Sharon you are right we do need a warm summer 😂I chit sweetcorn as I have had non germinating before,I do the same with French beans 👍
