    Nice 1 Mark mate, its the fun and enjoyment i enjoy. Watching people make videos sowing their onion seeds and the videos they make as their onions progress on their journey into gianthood ( hopefully ) hopefully learning some new tricks and knowledge along the way and hopefully sharing the little knowledge i have with people.

    I did watch this video while away on a holiday but forgot to leave a comment. Coming back now to do so. I guess at the time I didn't have anything good to say about slugs because they decimated my crops back in May/June and certainly didn't help my garden thrive, lol. I do agree that they are part of the ecological diversity to a garden but I do not have enough natural predators that are eating them to leave my crops to chance. Thanks for the interesting information 🙂

      It is true they can be destructive,but they are an interesting little creature,I thought maybe if we knew a bit more about them we would be a little less inclined to just kill them all of, a lot of slugs only eat dead plant matter, only a few are the destructive ones..👍 thankyou for watching I hope you enjoyed the video 👍👍🇬🇧

    Very informative video, loads of things I didn't know about slugs. I was tempted to try the ale trick for them this year, but like you say they are a food source for some animals.

    I find leopard slugs very interesting and I tend to leave them alone or move them to a safe area. We have ones here that have a vibrant orange skirt and are absolutely huge. Great update Mark even if it was gross 🤢 to watch them 😂😂. Have a super week, Ali ☔️☔️☔️🇨🇦

    Similar to yourself I never did well with cauliflower so I tend not to grow it certainly spring into summer. The only time I did have a good result was 2 years ago when I accidentally sowed some in the autumn and 1 managed to grow with a decent head over winter into the spring. I think I may try again this time.

    I try to use pallets as much as possible and anything else reclaimed. Prefer not to spend a fortune if I don’t have to. Most of my beds are made of pallets - I also have just got some decking boards that can turn into beds.

    I thought that was very informative. We source from a local pallet makers yard. He usually has a few collars of different sizes. A local discounter was selling brand new collars for the princely sum of £24 each! 😆, so it's prudent to shop around. Great video. Elaine 🌱 👍😮

      I think it’s that time of year to start clearing things out ,ready for more seed sowing 😂👍it’s like brassica city in my greenhouse 😂😂
