We have the same stove and it has been a champ. We live pretty close to where they are built, and I have talked to the people who build them on Vancouver Island. The interesting thing about this stove is that it burns really well and long with both big sized logs and small sized logs. Because of this I tend to split my wood smaller than I used to. Be safe.

One of the best looking stoves I’ve ever seen! I especially like the glass window in the door. The close tolerances the stove has and quality construction makes it a no- brainer. 👍

The 4 inch clearance is awesome. Really liked your eco fans as well. Never had wood heat before I got here and ,depending on how dry the wood is, love it.

I loved my stove. I was always up first, and as you said crank it up. In my last house we had a fireplace insert. It heated an 1750 sq feet easily.

Pacific energy makes a very efficient, well constructed woodstove.Built in B.C.,canada.Ive owned 3 of them. The super 27 is the basic firebox design incorporated in the bigger models. You pay top dollar, but you get a hell of a good stove for years to come.Carefull of the firebricks and baffle when loading, your golden.Great choice.

I have that stove now for about 6 years . We went to Amish country in Ohio to wood stoves stores ,you can see them working .I got this stove because you can remove the baffles easily to clean the chimney. We burn 24/7 in cold WVa winter. Burn low and slow or it will run you out of our house . I clean the chimney the first of each month. It is manufactured in Canada. I do have a gas furnace, gas dryer and gas hot water tank . Last years gas budget was $12: a month. This stove saved our bacon in last years big ice storm .love our wood heat ,stay safe stay warm. I have a single wall then double wall to the out side ,lots of heat from the single wall.

How's she goin'? It's very important to have a good stove. There are way too many camps and homes burnt down due to poor or improper stove installations. Yours sure looks good and well installed and I bet it heats you out by times, even at 20 below!!! Take 'er easy!!!

I’ve got the same stove and we love it, do you find after getting a full load fired and stove pipe is up in the 350-450f range you can close the damper all the way right and keep a slow burn going all night. I’m burning ash at maybe 20-25% moisture depending on the piece. Lately I have been closing all the way and then cracking it so the handle is inline with the L. Just curious your experience with that.
    Thanks man

Hi, we live in Newfoundland Canada, I’m debating getting a wood stove like this, is the fire easy to maintain? Always very nervous around fires , any advice about this stove ? Is it hard to light? Does it get out of control easily? Would it heat up a 1400 sq foot home?
