The final battle! We enter Vezon's Awakening to defeat the fallen Piraka and his fierce guardian once and for all, and reclaim the Mask of Life - The Kanohi Ignika itself!
Vezon is the embodiment of the meme of the boss during the fight vs. having the boss as a playable character

If they'd made him and The Kardas Dragon the TRUE final boss of the game, and put "Move Along" as the background song, that would've been so epic!!!! :D
Yeah they should have made it emerge when you can see the whole lava lake from above at the end and destroy the whole cave dome and then fight him outdoors in an new ring of ruined terrain.

@@SPYROSTSABOURIS yeah, and revive bionicle in general. Improve older figures people had issues with, and make the older ones more available, since finding them is pretty damn hard.
I mean it was a licensed game made on a deadline. I'm sure if Lego threw more time and money at it, it would have been truly spectacular.
You know, I think it would have been a bit more interesting if the ending was something like this:
After defeating Fenrakk, the creature reemerges from the lava as the monstrous Kardas Dragon, marking the beginning of the second phase of the battle.
Compared to the first phase, this one is much more challenging, requiring players to use the Toa's unique abilities to dismantle the dragon piece by piece.
During the battle, the Mask of Life separates from Vezon's head, greatly weakening them both and allowing the player to deliver the final blow.
Before the Toa can claim the Mask, however, it flies out of the Chamber and dives into the sea.
As the player exits the chamber to pursue the mask, they are greeted by Balta. Balta thanks them for saving the island and tells them of how the island and its inhabitants have returned to normal.
Afterwards, an unknown Matoran emerges from the sea and alerts the player that his underwater city needs their help, and a mysterious energy wave washes over the player's character, transforming them into a Toa Mahri.
Seeing this transformation, Balta remarks that it seems that the player's adventure has only just begun...
That would have been siiiiiick!
I'd imagine a Toa Mahri game would be awkward to do, but I really enjoy underwater stuff so I'd have loved if they went down that route 😭

And I could imagine that this Toa Mahri game would go something like this:
After freeing Voya Nui from the control of the Piraka, the player travels into the ocean aboard the Toa Terrain Crawler.
Arriving at the bottom of the sea, the player encounters the Matoran Defilak, who tells them the situation.
The village of Mahri Nui is under attack by strange and terrifying creatures, all of which have been transformed by the power of the Mask of Life. The most frightening of them all, however, are the six Barraki, who are attempting to claim the mask for themselves.
And now, the player must harness the powers and weapons of the Toa Mahri to defeat the Barraki, save Mahri Nui, and get the Mask of Life!
Please someone make a Bionicle Heores 2 game right NOW😭😭 I so desperately wanted that Kardas fight and a Mahri game. The moment I had my second playthrough of the game, I really hoped for more
Anyone noticed that if you hit Fenrakk's head (4:18), Vezon will wave his hand while drowning in lava?
I found this easter egg when I was a kid)
I didn't notice it was an easter egg back then, I thought it was necessary to hit Fenrakk's head, so I always did it. That explains why most gameplays don't have that part lol
He wave his hand and gave a thumbs up like the Terminator
Oh, that was a fun ride. I used to play it when I was like 10, now I'm 25 and just got the nostalgia mood and bindge watched the entire Playlist. Thanks for making it back then to relive the memories

This bionicle took the longest time to build honestly but it's such a good model.
One of my favourite sets, even Vezon alone was so unique to me with his cape and weapon! 😁
They included fucking _Axonn_ as a boss but not, like, Umbra or the Protodax or something from the Zone of Nightmares leading up to Vezon. Licensed games, man.
I’m like “why the hell is Axonn a boss in this game?!”.

If you'd like to play it again, Gamecube and PS2 emulators are a great option - it looks and runs great on both :)
If not, the PC version is best :)
