That's why he's alienated so many critics over the last few years. If you watch the NSYNC reunion on the Ellen show, he clearly shows he's miffed that he's not the center of attention anymore, and seems to have forgotten that these were the guys who made him who he is today. I'm not saying he's not talented, but he's definitely been fortunate to get as far as he did when he wasn't even the most talented member of the band.
I’m gonna chime in with the jc and Justin solo careers.... as far as I know jc is happy doing producing and writing for others now. As for his solo career, Justin did throw nsync under the bus as they were suppose to reunite but never did as Justin felt his solo career was taking off. Jc, out of respect for Justin and the group didn’t pursue his solo career until after Justin said he didn’t want to reunite with the band so they eventually disbanded... so to hear that Justin was smart to market himself when he was hot is just not the right way to put it. Ask any nsync fan... Justin just didn’t care about jc, esp since jc put off his solo career for the band. 😞

I was still young at that time but I already loved them. I used to play and sing their music in karaokes. I didn't knew that I was already all over them.
