She must have made a funny face or something because I asked her is she was being Avram. Next moment I hear her little voice chanting, "Bet. Be-e-et...." and wouldn't stop until I answered her. She made me stay in character the rest of the drive.
Hello, I'm almost done this 50 series of Hebrew lesson. And I'm so fascinated and surprised to learn that almost all the names of the food you show has similarity to how Arabic fruits/drinks/food are called. I know that Arabic and Hebrew are semitic language months ago and I'm amaze that there are a lot of words that are so the same. Only few differences in some vowels. And I really looove your lessons! Super! Watching from Qatar.
I enjoyed this lesson, but I will need to watch it a number of times. Three weeks later, I still revisit this lesson and review slowly while reading along.

Están cometiendo el error de pronunciar el SHEWA, "la vocal "E", los dos puntos verticales debajo de cada consonante, y este en general casi nunca se pronuncia...
Lo que dices es mayormente verdad para el hebreo moderno, pero las pronunciaciones del hebreo bíblico suelen distinguir las shewas vocalizadas de las silenciosas, así que pronunciamos las shewas vocalizadas con mucha atención y cuidado. Recomiendo verificar tus datos antes de andar "corrigiendo" 😉
