I (Dutch) saw the conflict building up on telly back in the day, then the war breaking loose and a warship sinking. And i was baffeld to see a real war on the TV even when i didnt understood the conflict at the time it made a deep impression on me. History and stories of those who fought should not be forgotten, thats why i love museums and deep respect the fallen soldiers in military culture.
What a great idea and a wonderful way to honour the fallen brave souls who died to ensure our freedom and way of life. Thank you so much for everything you have done. You are a great man and deserve a medal. Joe
What an awesome thing to do, we owe everything to these people who fell and those who didn't in all theaters of battle we as the uk have engaged in since ww1 and before that. My grandfather fought on several battlefields in ww2, never a braver man have I known. He was a tank battalion commander, he was also the only person I've ever known that was the signatory on his own driving licence having signed up early and became a tank instructor prior to operation overlord. His and one of his battalions tanks are currently on display in Bovingdon tank museum, he shall be dearly missed. Love what you are doing, i hope it goes on long into the future! 🧡
Because it is, and the people who live there have repeatedly stated their desire to remain part of the UK. Which is up to them and not the invaders from a fascist dictatorship. You may not realise it, but Argentina is still 1,500 km from the islands. Argentinians, by the way, are perfectly welcome to travel to and even live and VOTE on the islands. Every single Argentinian Falkland Islander voted to stay under British sovereignty in the last referendum in 2013. This is only a dispute from Argentinian populist politicians looking for an enemy to blame problems on.
