    Perník is literally a gingerbread in czech language, its not a brand, you can have soft version or hard version. ;)

    Kofola tastes wierd and very herbal the first time you have it but if you will have Coke right after that you will see that Kofola taste is way less sugary, way more interesting and refreshing. One can was definitely not enough to understand the idea)))

    tbh Kofola in can is one of the worst. Once you get it at at pub cold from tap you cant stop with it.

    just the pronounciation is not Czetschia, Its Czechia, where the CH should be red as K, but anyway, we Czechs more often say the full longer name Czech Republic. ;)

    Ok, so none of this I would actually buy. One has to be aware that these snacks used to be quite good before the companies producing them were bought by Nestle and other huge companies that started to optimize the production and made them quite uneatable. I would rather send you Slovakian Sedita products..

      Přestaň plácat nesmysly, půlku Slovenska vlastní zahraniční firmy včetně bydlení šašku, v budoucnu bude vlastnit zbytek russko, Fico k tomu směřuje.

    Kofola is even more popular than coke and taste so much better for most people here to the point even when im not planning to buy one, i end up buying it, cold and on tap is truly best.

    The soya thing looks like marzipan. Is this stuff from the Czech Republic or Chechnya? I adore rum, but the rum flavouring they use in these things is vile and bares little relation to the real stuff. Nestle and Cadbury bought out our traditional sweet brands getting rid of some, and ruining others by using their own ingredients. In Aust we had a chocolate maker called Red Tulip and they made these great caramel filled Easter eggs, when Cadbury’s took over they used their chocolate and caramello. Rolo chocolates were ruined when Nestle took over Robertson’s, they also took over a company called Smalls Chocolates and basically discontinued their whole range in order to supplant them with their own bars. Nestle has been progressively ruining Quality Street since they took that over.

    • @RobReacts1
      @RobReacts1  2 роки тому +1

      It was sort of like marzipan without the taste and more of a playdoh texture

    • @TominovCZ

      Its from Czech republic... Rob cant even look up the proper pronounciation of Czechia (The shortcut for Czech rep.) I know its a dumb shortcut similiar to poor russian oblast of Chechnya

    • @mrkv4k
      @mrkv4k 2 роки тому +1

      It's the same story with most of those. Nestle took over and they changed good chocolate to cheaper lower quality one. They also moved some production to Poland. The "soya thing" was originaly a way how to use leftovers from the wafer production. When you cut wafers into rectangle shapes, you are left with those edges. So someone figured out you can combine them with some soy, rum and coconut flavour. They became quite popular.

    Hello from the Czech Republic. I had all these snacks, but if I had to choose from these, I would choose Fidorku or Miňonky.
    I like the potatoes with garlick, but i like more mustrad flavour.
    and of course i love Kofola.

    If we take the entire selection, all those things are actually retro, but in the times of totalitarianism, we didn't have a very large selection like today, for example, 50 types of yogurt, but the quality standards were set by law and, unfortunately, with that, when we joined the European Union, they fell and today the quality of those products is sometimes appalling.

      Otherwise, Kofola has nothing in common with cola, just the color because of the caramel. Otherwise, Kofola is a herb. When it is well chilled, it is excellent, otherwise it gained popularity in our country during the times of communism, at that time cola was not sold here.
