Don't know much about these, but I had a Pajero that someone had fitted an electric fuel pump to try and hide the fact the seals were knackered in the fuel injection pump, did the same as yours dumping diesel into the sump. I took it to a place in Hull that were very knowledge on this fuel pump and sorted it no bother, the place where I bought it paid the bill. My advice if you want to keep the motor, get them to sort it for you.
Nothing to do with your problem, but my Daughter has a Mazda3 SP23 and when you check the oil level, there is nothing on the dipstick. Put it back in, then pull it out again and the oil level then shows. If you were not aware of this, it is likely that the engine could be over-filled with oil.

mazda bongos are known for their rust problems as in japan they dont put salt on their roads when bongos come over here the salt eats into them like mad

@@wardysworx I've always been amazed at how much they let go on bongos, such as the rear quarters behind the bumper, which are always rotten, yet they still pass . Similarly, the sills are often overlooked because the seat belt mounts are high up on the bongos. As a result, these issues just seem to worsen every year."
I got properly scammed on my first one. The van was so rotten; it was a joke. I spent weeks welding it, and still ended up scrapping it because I couldn't do that to someone else. I think I paid 3k for it at the time.

Sounds like if you’re not a very competent machcanic dont go near an import especially a bongo.

I spend about 3 days welding my bongo every year before its mot just part and parcel owning a bongo its just normal and I'm on my 3rd
I understand but not when it had a clean mot 2 months prior. It should of been clean as per the mot.
