Btw if anyone was wondering, in one of his first runs, he got climb the cheese rocks and said it was impossible, but In a later run, he got the moon, it was proven possible in between the two streams
i thought that but just assumed it was a different moon.
then i thought about how mario odyssey people are crazy.

I played Odyssee and got 100% on all Kingdoms up to Luncheon but still don’t remember to what half of those names are referring to!

I feel like it'd be a really unpopular category, as only 1 in 50 Runs can actually reach Bowsers, so on average you'd need to play for 50+ Hours to get one finished run wich is really bad
@@nubplaisgaims8250 the runners can use rng manipulation so that talkatoo gives them good moons. It’d be hard but possible
@@Lucid372 Does the RNG run on a global timer? If yes, you'd possibly also be able to manipulate the mecha-wiggler for blindfolded speedruns...

Great video! I think you did a good job of reacting to the moons you were given, saying why they are good or bad, and what you were doing and what you were planning to do. It makes the video easy to follow. Good stuff. And good editing, like with the name tag and other things.
Could not agree more. Previous talkatoo percent vids have been a little hard to follow some times but this one was spot on!
Holy peck. This must have been insanely tough- for a legit speedrun challenge this would be a really tough one to get a WR on and yet there’s still a way to always get better times. It’s all based on the birb- so there’s always some room to improve.
Good luck to anyone else who does this challenge… you’re gonna need it. Mostly in Luncheon.

Then get's saved at the last moment before he reset because of some miracle.

Maybe the rule to un-softlock yourself would be that you still need to get the moons that require capturing, but effectively it doesn't count at all. Like, neither the moon, nor the capture required for that moon
Then that would defeat the purpose of the category

Actually pulling off the notes is very impressive. I’m also pretty sure that was a frame perfect jump so that assist mode wouldn’t bubble him, instead butt bouncing him.

My first NORMAL speedrun in Super Mario Odyssey was 3 hr and 42 minutes and you did a talkatoo minimum captures in 3hr and 24 minutes! Funny😂

This is one of the best speedruns i have ever witnessed, i've only been subbed for about a week but i've been catching up on your videos throughout that time and i've got to say that this is some crazy dedication and skill. Do you think you could ever play Bowsers Fury? I would love to see some parkour and tricks on that game too! And props to the editor, they do such a great job, this is overall a great channel :D

Talkatoo% is bad but I feel like it combined with something having to do with the toad could make it more annoying seeing that you would need a lot of coins

I think what would make this run reasonable would just be to add 1 simple rule: If talktatoo is offering 3 moons that require a capture, then you get +1 cap limit. And yes, if you get locked again, you do get another +1.
Being able to softlock just because of RNG is terrible, so eliminating that removes the single worst part of this challenge that makes it basically unplayable.
