Greetings Anton: A new challenge for the astronomical community must be to detect these dark comets ☄️ in time. They must be like detecting an asteroid.🎄
Anyone can see the road that they walk on is paved in gold It's always summer they'll never get cold They'll never get hungry, they'll never get old and grey
Super Nova from massive stars could have sent omuamua hurdling through space causing it’s close orbital path to Earth, what is extraordinary is it’s exiting orbit back out into space that’s quantum physics in it’s entirety,.
I have thought for a while that planet 9 is probably a dark( low albedo) body. 🌑 Q: what type of material is dark, low reflectivity, & dense? That is what to be looked for.
A question: If comets have delivered the majority of our water, then how much mass was also delivered with them? Seems that with the amount of water on our planet, the amount of other mass would be considerable. Unless of course the comets were90%+ water to begin with.
The main difference between comets and asteroids is their charge potential vs the solar plasma. Its a spectrum of orbits, materials, and visibility of discharge.
I think its a roughly circular lava plain. Got blown off a large body when the gas pocket underneath got ruptured by a nearby collision. The object then drifted, got thrown out of its birth system, and then drifted towards the sun's future position in space over a few billion years. It then floats past the sun, gets hot, the remaining gas in minute pockets underneath the lava plain swell, and then burst. The result is a one sided pulsating space body with natural retros underneath that fire only when they're facing the sun.
we got so many detecting telescopes in most of the spectrum looking around theres not a big asteroid or comet to worry about until it gets into the solarsystem and hits a keyhole that would threaten us and by that time we would have a decade to prepare or handle it.
Caso haja consistência em acreditar em teorias de multiverso, então estamos admitindo que no nosso próprio universo há um zoológico inesgotável de astros para ainda serem classificados. Ou não?
I Really like your videos and the subject matters. I am hard of hearing and live in an apartment complex so I can't cut the volume up to loud. I use subtitles when I can but if you have any way to use a microphone that let's your voice be louder I wish you would use it. I cut the volume up but when a commercial comes on I have to have the remote handy so the volume doesn't bother my neighbors. Again love your channel Sir and the only thing I'd change is the volume. And no I can't afford hearing aids at the moment. Sorry to complain.
Static electricity has been found to be a part of the cohesion effect of rubble pile asteroids, a small effect but so is gravity in low mass objects, so I wonder if it might have some part to play in this mystery acceleration? How would that work?
Obviously if we can't see what's evaporating we need to make instruments that can see water vapor… And if that's not it we need instruments that can see something else.
OK, serious question: How can an 'interstellar object' remain as one and pass through the solar system without being captured and becoming part of the solar system? If it had high enough velocity, it may end up in a large and very eccentric orbit, but surely the Sun's gravity captured it?
It’s all Trash Science on Steroids, a new TV series with an old rerun theme, and rerun content, a perfect circle of gone nowhere and wasted a lot of time.
Invisible volatile out gassing? Maybe water but we haven't detected any? But Oumuamua is DEFINITELY this impossible rock guys. Some people just can't give it up huh.
Didn’t one of the voyager probes also start to accelerate when it got close to the edge of the solar system? Could this be some new gravitational effect?
Ricks in space can really get around so much better than the ricks on Earth that just have to loiter while they hope for an Earthquake or volcano to move them around smidge.
does just "heat" 3:25 coming off the asteroid "slow it"? is this an exception to our experience of any acceleration involves a loss of mass? this is just radiation pushing it? so...em/photon acceleration? even our efficient but weak ion drives lose/throws some mass... oh later in the video you say "what's evaporating" so that sounds like mass IS involved in the slight acceleration...
And that hypothesis proves your assumption about interstellar objects? But why look out so far away! I've seen a stalagtite fall off a cave ceiling;• that proves that Oumuamua had no aliens.
Suggested the possibility of, not suggested was. Language matters, and "was" implies definite existence, and he never said alien life definitely were a factor, only a possibility he would liked to have followed up on with further tests. Big fan of Dr Loeb, so I listen carefully. JMG at Event Horizon (YT channel) hosts him quite often... You get a like regardless. Dr. Avi Loeb is a phenomenal scientist in this field, and he works hard on all sorts of projects.
@@innocentbystander3317 Cool, thanks for the like. But to even suggest the possibility was silliness. At the slow speed it was traveling, it would take forever to reach anywhere. Only one thing matters to Loeb - getting in the press. He'll claim anything to accomplish it.
Nobody knows if Omouaumoua is artificial or not. These claims of it not being unnatural are wrong and displays arrogance. We don't have a piece of it or even a decent image, so never say never.
Oumouamoua took a look at Earth and got the hell out of here as fast as possible - definitely a sign of intelligence.
Don't be so hard on yourself

Agreed 😊
Indeed 😂
Anton learned a new word, couldn't wait to use it :)
He didn't mention it looks like a cock and balls though, it could be heading for Uranus
Bi-pedal, mammalian aliens with binocular vision are apparently quite common in the minds of artists.

A better commentary and explanation than other channels.

"Everything we know is hypothesis" sums up Mankind's understanding of the whole universe. Sabrina would be very supportive of this statement.
In before this comment gets deluged by commies all handwringing and scolding, because you mentioned a name they don't like. 🫡
Finally
"sums up Mankind's understanding of the whole universe" that would be a blanket refusal of all of physics and science in general!

Greetings Anton: A new challenge for the astronomical community must be to detect these dark comets ☄️ in time. They must be like detecting an asteroid.🎄
If we can just figure out where they are and their mass, then time won't be an issue.
Dark matter, dark energy, dark comets. I kept hearing that the future looked dark, but now I can blame astronomers for making it happen. 😀
Wonderful as always Anton. Thank you. 😊
Condescending, actually.

Nice that they’ve found that dark matter at last. Made of comets after all that speculation, who knew.
I just want to know if we can repurpose it as a spaceship?, Dig out the gold, it should pay for itself.
Even if there were piles of gold bars sitting on the surface, it would be more cost effective to just buy gold.
Omuamua is special

As long as Eros is not the asteroid accelerating Venus would be safe.
id suggest converting whiteboard images to dark theme

First it looked like rocket then the Melenium falcone
Is that related to the Selenium Falcon?

That seems less likely to me than combustion or another chemical reaction leaving water in place.
stfu that has nothing to do with the video

The first-ever OBSERVED interstellar object. I'm sure there have been billions more of various sizes over the lifetime of our solar system.
and your frame of reference. Is the object passing through the solar system, or are we passing through its domain?
Oh boy, something new to worry about. Invisible comets, inevitably aiming right at me. Sigh.
shocking most of these comets are present where all the other small bodies in the solar system are
Thats a whole lot of supposition for a scientific paper, might as well say it was aliens
i wish they would actually find out what things are instead of just calling everything dark and never studying it again.
Static electricity has been found to be a part of the cohesion effect of rubble pile asteroids, a small effect but so is gravity in low mass objects, so I wonder if it might have some part to play in this mystery acceleration? How would that work?

Dark energy, dark matter, and now dark comets. Astronomy seems to be entering the dark ages....
They've detected out-gassing from Uranus.

I would guess that salt and water touching eachother in some ways once in awhile makeing small propulsions on the asteriod.

I seriously think I saw a dark comet before ! It was so dark I could only see it because the sky was lighter

Oh no oh no you mean it's not aliens!?! I've never heard you say that before.
Likely outgassing from Uranus 💨
ive got a nasty flu right now and im also emmitting dark energy.. raising the rooms temperature by 3c

It was a ship, not a rock
Why do they use "black" when discussing black stars and black holes but use "dark" when discussing dark comets?
Because we can see the comet even though it may be dark. We cannot see blackholes or 'black stars' (whatever that is)
