@AdrianavVictoria though i agree that the lyrics at first seem rather bland, but to me personally, the song is about the change of being in a relationship to being alone and that when eating dinner it becomes painfully obvious how alone he/she is. "No more candle light/no more romance/no more small talk/when the plate is clean" It's rather depressing but i think there's a power to the simplicity. This is just my opinion, i don't mean to attack you or anything of that sort.
