People just look at these 20-30 seconds edits and think that it’s just only that
But the amount of time and creativity put into these edits is really tremendous.
It really takes a lot to turn some clips into those stunning looking edits and convey the feeling to viewers.
As a content creator myself, i can confirm that
no we don't, some people just aren't interested in editing so they couldn't care less, but i think that anyone who is older than 10 should know this took a lot of work to make
I've never actually seen an "amv edit" rather just AMV's where they slap certain sakuga on to fit along with the music

Everything from the flow, chosen clips, backgrounds, Lighting, pacing, and the story/meaning behind it all is perfectly conveyed. i think graphic media like mp4-lightnings, good quality pngs, and so on, are the hardest things to get at the moment of doing something like this, you could have all these creative ideas, but without the adecuate resources itll be rlly hard to make reality those ideas, overall about the edition everything is pretty doable for anyone, so cmon, you got this

You really showed us that a lot can be done just by changing and adding some details in animation. Maybe in the future, animation studios will have more budget to do high-end detailed animations and some help of AIs which may lessen the cost of frames.
Some of them do it, Makoto Shinkai, start working on games but he started to made his own shorts on a Mac, he and ufotable are the best mixing and blendering 2d anime with CGI and VFX search ufotable making of reels and are similar to this
It's not just about budget and being high end. It's also about the format. An edit/AMV has to be intense for 30sec. You can't put that much color, effects and intensity in a movie. It's tiring, the spectator don't know where to look, so you have to lessen the effects for the sake of clarity, even though it could look even more beautiful.
The amount of work behind these edits is incredible, love it💜
