The fly by happened (back in the early days when they could get away with this) The pilot was RIGHT there waving at us, we then ran/tripped to the other balcony to see him complete his turn around the building and in between other high rises. EPIC sound and sight, we cacked ourselves. Great time, great drinking, great people.

Via the coast low level is a good “White pointer” route, nice views sometimes lol.
i originally thought these were the ones we had ordered from america, flying back as there are other videos of a formation of about 20 f18's over capital cities in the eastern states, but I am not sure now

a couple years after this, the whole of 6 sqn flew their 12 super hornets up the coast as a last flight before they were moved to 1 sqn. after that 6 sqn took delivery of the growlers. bloody good fly by
My guess is heading from RAAF Williamtown to RAAF Amberley. Possibly due to reallocation of fighter craft cause the new F-35s we're delivered to RAAF Williamtown
One of those jets nearly hit a bird at 1:02, close call, those birds may be small but can do serious damage of they collide with certain areas of the plane, i.e. cockpit , engine intake, etc.

Must have been flying off a carrier that was coming into home port.
Australia does not have any carriers, all our fighters are land based. These were likely from Amberley.
