So it isnt his 'natural' voice, he has to consciously make his voice 'big'. I also agree that in certain points he is forcing him voice to sound deep, love George Ezra though! :D
He had to start the song so low and sing it super low in different parts so that he could flip up and not have it be crazy high like in the original because he probably can't hit those notes also because it just sounds super cool in a lower register. that's my opinion anyways. lol

During the verse George is out of his comfort zone in my opinion but as soon as he smashes out the chorus, he gives you the shivers. Great guitar skills also. Oh and I did not expect him to look like that LOL

I think he is going lower than he think he can go. He is talented but he just doesn't sound good when going this low. In this he goes higher and if he just went one octave higher maybe it would have been better
I think he sang too deep in the verses. You could tell that it is not that comfortable for him either, he struggled a bit. But, come on, from 1:46 to 2:06 is pure eargasm. Love his voice sooo much! Never would've tell he is 21 had I not seen him
It was an alright cover but I don't think it really suited his voice all that well....I actually love his voice too, he's an amazing singer. Even when he's live, he's brilliant and there aren't that many singers out there these days that can sing live really well. :)
This is a form of art. If you just close your eyes and listen, I think you'll like it. Its simple and cool. A lot of music these days doesn't really slow down and take you into it, and just runs fast and hard to try to sound edgy. Just because you have a favorite type of music or a favorite artist doesn't mean you can't appreciate others. He is really talented, and has a great style.
I've read some of the comments about his voice before typing out my own comment: It's that natural deep voice, and when he smiles the more HIGH tone that comes into play that makes him his own artist. Sure, this style of music isn't for him but he still made the song his own. He's more soft rock and blues singer than a pop singer that's for sure. :p He's 3 months older than me and I use to sing for a band in school before smoking took my sweet voice away from me. :( :p But there are songs sung by Bob Marley or Johnny Cash that would suit him and his voice perfectly. He's got a sexy, unique voice and I can see him going far in his career. :3
