As a kid who grew up in what I consider the "Golden Age" of Extreme sports(1998-2007), I watched people like Hawk, Mullen, Mirra and Hoffman, and I was amazed at what they could do on skateboards and BMX bikes. I don't mean this in any disrespectful way or anything Scotty but I consider you this era's Dave Mirra. You are terrific and a talented man, and if BMX and skateboarding become big again(It will) I hope you get chosen to be the face of BMX. Your videos are awesome Scotty, I love them and will continue to watch very one you upload. You are an inspiration. Thank you Scotty. -Sheldon
dude there are people doing stuff today that people back in 2007 didn't even think was possible. you clearly don't watch Nitro Circus, Street League skateboarding, or any big events anymore do you?
For real. I think this is the golden age of skating/bmx. With the Internet and everybody sharing videos on Facebook I think it's becoming more mainstream. Pretty soon we'll be able to ride spots without getting kicked out.
I try not to watch the nitro circus bullshit because it is fucking disgusting. Tricks considered pulled onto a resi? Considered pulled when you ball-ride out of them? Fuckkkkk offfffff. In the golden age of BMX there were hardly any resi's or foam pits; you had to try the trick and hope like crazy you land it with your ankles and teeth intact. Also, it's worth mentioning that everything that's 'landed' at these events you're so fond of, these trick's were paved by the greats of the golden age, they're only possible because the Mat Hoffman's and Jay Miron's of the era tried and tested them first.
There's so much more better events for groundbreaking stuff and you mention Street League...? The groundbreaking stuff is happening in the street, and at comps where the hosts/owners are truly down and passionate, not at Street League that's all about the money.
I like that you guys don't argue with the people kicking you off their properties. You just politely leave. That gives a good name to BMXers and skateboarders.
Thank you for not giving the police officers and security guard a hard time. I know it can be a bummer to be asked to leave a fun spot, and it may seem like it’s overkill to say something about a skater or BMX rider and terrorists in the same sentence.... I remember what it felt like when the truck exploded in front of the OKC federal building. The only time I seen my stepdad in those first couple weeks was in the background of the news channels. I knew the guy that was on every cover holding the lifeless baby. That day in school was a blur. I felt scared, pissed off and I wanted to go help with whatever they would let me. And after 9/11 I joined the Air Force and served on active duty for a decade before my spine injury ended what would have been a 20yr career. Could you imagine being a police officer that is stationed at a place like that.. the building management doesn’t want people riding or skating on the property due to possible liability for an innocent bystander or the rider or property damage and being the person that has to go out and ask people to leave several times a day? That alone would suck, but add on the anti-authority sort of personalities that tend to thrive in skating and some freestyle BMX riders. And that isn’t your only job, just an extra duty.
Nice to see you being so respectful as always even getting kicked out! Thats a good lesson to all young kids out there starting! Always be nice to everyone and they will most likely be nice to you!
It honestly makes me happy too see how much this channel has blew up, legit subbed at like 15,000 and now you nearly have half a mil. Hard work pays off
Scotty I just want to thank you guys for making such great videos. You guys have inspired me to start riding bmx again and I'm about to buy my first ever real bmx bike in years. Keep up the great work!
Its like when you get a muffin, but is kinda dry on the outside but moist on the inside and you just are like meh its average because the moist made up for the dry part.
gridlock (blocking the intersection like that) in Cali is illegal. even if on green, you can't proceed through the intersection unless you can clear the opposing crosswalk
Scotty what you are doing is really amazing, I haven't been able to BMX in a couple months for injuries and your videos are the closest I'm getting to being on a bike again (lmao). Anyways just keep doing you and piping it quality vids every day for people to watch :)
Camboy GW Would be interesting but what rules? Stevie can ride park, but he is a street rider first. Scotty is a contest park rider who can ride street but he isn't going to do what Stivie will do riding street. So do you make it all park or all street or a mix? I think that the edge is with Stevie for this game. He isn't scared of going huge and falling on anything. Scotty makes alot of money to do what he does with contests and I think he would hesitate or take a letter before he did say a 10 stair crank arm to bar.
Literally Marquese Scott is my entire inspiration with dancing. I first saw him when I was twelve and have been dancing since. I want to meet him soooooo bad. I can't believe you got to meet him. I am beyond jealous.
buying a bike next week to start riding all because you guys. Scotty your amazing dude. if you ever come to New Orleans post it so I can come see you guys ride... I've seen all your vids... I'm addicted.
That's dope your gonna be doing a project with Nonstop. He was the last person I would of ever expected to see in your vlogs haha. Been a fan of his dancing for a few years now. Make sure if you're in downtown LA you keep it moving on skidrow. Also, you should try and link up with John Hicks, that would be cool.
The closely spaced anti-truck bomb pylons should have been a BIG clue that was a federal building. Tim McVeigh may be gone but he's certainly not forgotten.
California, oregon and washington are hard on riders. over here you find a spot you hit it real quit and leave or else they will be on you and will take your bikes, skateboard or whatever you ride.
really like the way u guys filmed this one. just riding around the city freestyle is the way i’d ride too if i had any skills on a bmx. looks much fun, cheers 🤙✌️
I don't like how slow yt is for notifications for vids, we turn on notifications to get them straight away and support the UA-camr straight away not a day later. anyway great video Scott keep it up
Scotty you and all of the team have inspired me to ride bmx and try to learn some basic stuff seriously you guys are awesome love the videos and I subbed, also I'm a brit so tell Ron I'm another international badboy @ginger nation 😃
Was the reason you changed from the jet fuel frame to the black frame to make it easier to film the commercial or did you just feel the need to change it up.
Two scooters... the guy has never seen a bicycle before hahahaha! He ended up being chill though and that's all you can ask for when dealing with security.
The cops were like, we've got skaters and big boy was like actually it's bmxers, savage
He actually said scooters ;(
they were all serious about it. called it in like as soon as they saw them.
Nathan Sundquist I
Matty Barnett
that cop has been a fan of channel since it's inception, he was just giving big boy shit for being a scooter kid once upon a time
Man i sometimes watch these old videos and realise i forgot just how ridiculously good Scotty was

That's no disrespect! You really gotta be godly to be called an era's Mirra lol

That is some sick shit right there daddy
I love how chill Scotty was with those cops some people would just start arguing and stuff
5:06-5:15 Nobody was letting that truck through
gridlock (blocking the intersection like that) in Cali is illegal. even if on green, you can't proceed through the intersection unless you can clear the opposing crosswalk
They dont have to
these short videos have not been my favorite. but understand I appreciate the effort this requires.
Wait hold up is that the Dos Equis "Most interesting man in the world" at 0:33 seconds in haha
Scotty what you are doing is really amazing, I haven't been able to BMX in a couple months for injuries and your videos are the closest I'm getting to being on a bike again (lmao). Anyways just keep doing you and piping it quality vids every day for people to watch :)
Seen Brandon Begin 180 a gap like that. Would love to see you ride with the OSS crew
For the culture.
Scotty Cranmer x Stevie Churchill game of BIKE
Camboy GW Would be interesting but what rules? Stevie can ride park, but he is a street rider first. Scotty is a contest park rider who can ride street but he isn't going to do what Stivie will do riding street. So do you make it all park or all street or a mix? M Davis yea good point... perhaps flat ground? I've never seen Scotty pull a flat 540, but ive also seen Stevie struggle with a flat whip.
Stevie can 3 whip flat
This was fire! Can't believe this was 3 years ago. I hope you fully recover so we can see you do what you do best.

2:04 Big boy trying to advertise for vans or something? It sounded like he said "that was VAN-tastic.
He did big boys a good marketer with his wording. Make things catchy an it’s much easier to remember.
That's dope your gonna be doing a project with Nonstop. He was the last person I would of ever expected to see in your vlogs haha. Been a fan of his dancing for a few years now. Gotta love that 20 sec stare down by the guy at the cross walk at like 40 sec. in.
California, oregon and washington are hard on riders. over here you find a spot you hit it real quit and leave or else they will be on you and will take your bikes, skateboard or whatever you ride.
Just finding spots in Oregon is hard
nah i live in the capital area and there is a ton of spots just got to keep an open mind on areas.
