பேட்டி எடுத்தவர் V.S.நரசிம்மன் அவர்கள் இசையமைத்த படங்களைப்பற்றி கேட்டிருக்கலாம். இவர் சில படங்களே இசையமைத்திருந்தாலும் காலத்தால் அழியாத அற்புதமான பாடல்களைக் கொடுத்தவர். தீவிர சினிமாப் பாடல் ரசிகர்களின் இதயங்களில் இவருக்கு நீங்காத இடமுண்டு. இவர் இசையமைத்த படங்களான ' கல்யாண அகதிகள்', ' கண்சிமிட்டும் நேரம்', உன்னை ஒன்று கேட்பேன்', 'ஆயிரம் பூக்கள் மலரட்டும்' , 'பாச மலர்கள்' போன்ற படங்களில் இவர் இசையமைத்த பாடல்களைக் கேட்கும்போது , இவருடைய படைப்பூக்கத்தையும், கற்பனை வளத்தையும், ஆழ்ந்த இசையறிவையும் கண்டு மெச்சாதவர்கள் இருக்கமுடியாது.

அதைப்போலவே "விழிதீபம் உனைச்சேரும்" என்று ஒரு பாடல் பண்ணியிருக்கிறார் - மிருதங்கம் , சந்தூர் , கிட்டார் இதெல்லாம் சேர்த்து interlude பின்னியிருப்பர் பாருங்கள்! பின்னியிருப்பார்!!

The violin strokes in Maha Ganapathim kriti in Sindhubharavi movie is remarkable and distinct as it isn't accompanied by mridhangam. Don't know who played it. The interviewers too need a bit of basic music sense to focus his questions. This man cannot go beyond rakamma song that too because everyone speaks of it.

My only request, when a common man like me can hear Raja's Symphony? What prevents providing it to people like me? Is is financial reason or something else? Otherwise we should stop talking about it. We have been talking/raving about Raja's symphony for the last 30 years and nobody (except for few) has heared about it.
Many persons attribute some of Isaignani's hits to VS. Narasimhan. This clearly indicates their intolerance to accept the genius that Isaignani is. VSN was only a violinist among the many other instrumentalists in Isaignani's orchestra, merely playing the Notes, single handedly notated by Isaignani himself. Wen VSN individually, cudnt compose for more 10 films, Isaignani magnanimously took him back into his orchestra, as violinist. He clarifies here that in the instrumental piece in Raja Paarvai he has only played the Violin Solo, which clearly indicates that he hasn't collaborated in the composition of the piece in any manner. Further, VSN himself admits that he cudnt comprehend the grandeur of the music, wen he saw isaignani's Symphony Score sheet, until he heard it being played in London. That's the genius Isaignani.
If you are not a fan then you can move on. I don’t know who here thinks Ilayaraja is not a genius but that does not mean everybody else is a nobody. A violinist or any other instrumentalist is not just merely playing notes. Would you go say this to any other violinist and say they are just playing notes that a composer composed? What is a composer going to do without his/her musicians? Keep your hatred to yourself because there is no place for it in music or anywhere else for that matter.
I agree with you. Composing needs a holistic intuition and view. Not everyone can possess that.

He has done several albums not to mention his versatility in carnatic & western traditions. Why do you stoop so low belittling his merits ? Where is the need to compare ? This is pathetic .
Hello Thambi , Can you please do a basic homework before you interview a personality. Your questions were really childish and rubbish. There is no need for you to introduce or check about him in interviews. Many in TN knew about him and a genius in music circles
