    Sit on an incline bench, look straight up, press your elbows against the back of your rib cage, and curl 50-60% of your max. The mechanical disadvantage is crazy and you get a full range of motion. That’s my bicep builder!

    Hi, brother... I am Nacer journalist and tv presenter from Algeria...I have a question we are in Ramadhan and I am training and go to the gym since 20 years ago and I do a hard work when I am fasting ...do you have any advice for me to not lose muscles in Ramadhan..??

    • @PaulSklarxfit
      @PaulSklarxfit  6 місяців тому +1

      It’s very difficult without calories. My advice would be to supply yourself with adequate calories during the non-fasting periods. During this time you may want to cut down on volume so that you don’t burn more calories than you take in.

    • @geo15304
      @geo15304 6 місяців тому +1

      Hello brother. Ensure you eat more protein when not fasting. And to break the fast with fatty meal e.g avocado, yolks and high fat minced meat.

    Great Video Paul, I was wondering if you think that its ok to split a workout - Say, you start lifting in the morning but you run out of time so you go to work for the day then when you get home that evening, you finish the workout - Someone told me that that's too much & its going to do reverse affects - What are you're thoughts on this? Thanks for the Great Videos!

    Why the change in db placement from your video uploaded about 6 months ago when you advocated that placing the dumbbells on the front of the thighs at the start and end of the movement was better?

    Thanks for another easy to understand explanation.
    Question, how often for how long should I exercise. I'm in the unique position where I can gym at work and home. Plus I live close enough to work that I cycle one day and run the next. (I might be addicted) But I feel that when I don't exercise I'm cheating or losing what I've gained

    • @PaulSklarxfit
      @PaulSklarxfit  6 місяців тому

      Everyone is different and has different goals. I would say you do you and if what you’re doing works, stick with it. If you truly enjoy it, do it as much as your body can tolerate💪🏼

    Any tips for someone who wants to grow his chest and shoulders but have a torn rotator cuff and can’t do overheads? So literally I can’t put my shoulder on overheads position ‘cuz i think it’s gonna pop. But curls and most of the biceps and triceps workout that doesn’t need to go overheads i think i can do that.

    • @mikemurdoch2891
      @mikemurdoch2891 6 місяців тому

      I tore my r cuff about a year ago so I did the recommended PT stuff for a month or so and if I had pain I stopped from there did standing pushups against kitchen counter eventually did real pushups and now I can do all of these exercises with light weights 20lb hope this helps hang in there

    • @thevinrick4935
      @thevinrick4935 5 місяців тому

      @@mikemurdoch2891 welp, i tore it way back 2017 still haven’t look into it or done any surgery . Thinkin i’m fine and pushing a set of bench press and ending up getting injured sucks. Now I’m focusing in building muscles around my torn rotator cuff to strengthen it without surgery.
