Thank you so much Marianne, I really really enjoyed watching you creating those amazing and gorgeous buttons. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Please stay safe and well too
I love your paper buttons! What a great idea. Just heard about this concept from a bookmakers group I'm in - someone made some for a journal. I also meant to ask - what kind of round punch are you using?
Great Question!! I have sewn them on Journals and other craft and art projects. I have never tried them on clothing I think for that purpose I might use chipboard as the base - it wouldn't get bent up when putting it through the button hole. I think I would be most concerned about washing the garment 🤪
I'm so sorry this question got missed!! When I'm gluing large amounts of pages together like that I typically use a very simple PVA glue watered down. I keep a pint jar in my studio (with a screw on top) that is 50-50 Tacky Glue and Water. It works great for all collaring, and especially when I'm going to use a lot of it for many layers I want to choose an inexpensive glue that gets the job done! Hope you can join us live sometime! ❤️
To glue the layers together I prefer a very strong glue that I know wo't come apart. My 3 top choices are Art Glitter Glue, Bearly Art Glue, and Stamperia Craft Glue ❤️
Love your buttons! Would love to see your testing of glazes.
Very cute
Thank you, Sherry! When you make some, please share them in the FB Group! ❤️❤️

Can these buttons be used in sewing?

What's the stuff used glossy accents?
Uep, it's a Ranger product - Gossy Accents
Yeah but What kind of adhesive did she use? Pva...silicone based...WHAT!!
The layers are glued together with Art Glitter Glue, PV A, or Bearly Art Glue - all are used. ANY kind of glue will work for this technique.
I’m glad I found this video to make paper buttons. #1000subs
