This movie was hard for me to finish because the main character was so unlikeable. She really had the nastiest attitude which doesn’t really leave the audience exactly rooting for her. I came to the comments section specifically to see if anyone else felt the way I was feeling.
Movie would've been more enjoyable if the main character started out as rude/socially inept when people only wanted to help her but understood that not everyone took pity on her and just wanted to help by the end. But she kept correcting the other woman even in the end about the stairs and so - that "she knows". Though, I like how she earlier called the army veteran woman but didn't listen to her instructions at the start but then trusted her later and obliged in taking instructions to shoot or stay in places etc.
Never really liked this type of comments....It is very pretentious..no one forced you to finish a trailer...1 minute is enough to learn the plot and see if it is good enough to watch. Never in my life have I finished a trailer b/c I hate spoilers nor whined about it b/c I sat for whole 2:45 minutes to get convinced to watch.
The movie had great potential but it made very little sense imo... The "bad guys" were almost more likable than the protagonist who kept making stupid decisions and acting bitchy. Not suspenseful enough with such a predictable storyline. *SPOILER* At some point the thieves actually wanted to leave the property without harming the girl once they knew the police was on their way, and she is the one who begged them to stay ???
🔴 SPOILERS 🔴 i just watched it and i honestly found it to be fun to watch, but very predicatble, seen tons of movies like this one...i prefer Hush over this one. They also didn't explain anything after the ending, what did Debra say when she came back? What did the police do? How could an owner of such big house trust a blind girl to take care of her cat and house? It's really stupid lol. Also, how did Sophie steal the money that easily and got away from it? Didn't the cops arrive at the end? How did she run away with the money. Last but not least, they could've gotten rid of her easily, they made it really hard for 3 grown ass men to fight one blind teenager girl
Horrible movie. She was not a good person herself. She would of not have fallen back if it didn't turn left for her own gain. She was also a bad person with her own stealing and bad attitude. I could careless if she went to jail or got killed. I was definitely not rooting for her.
The biggest plot hole was if the husband new about the money, why not open HIS OWN SAFE himself since he would know the code. Wait until the wife leaves, go in and enter the code, then leave in ten minutes.
Also what makes her any better than the guys that are breaking in to take the money. She’s no better than them, then at the end he told her he was willing to give her a cut and he she still killed him lol even killed the pretty innocent guy who was just gunna leave and let her take some too. She killed the last two for no reason. Pretty shitty main character.

I saw this before the movie started and knew for sure you were overreacting. But I started watching it and I find her so unlikable that I can't finish it either. She's rude to everyone and annoyingly stubborn.

OMG this was a great Canadian production - story well written and acted. When the husband comes in at the end I knew he had planned it all. Why so much money in a vault which would be safer at the bank? So he wouldn't have to pay taxes and then we find out it's already stolen. That actor is one scary asshole and always plays in roles like this. He's Kim Coates and the series is about a Canadian mobster in Montreal with his minions. Excellent series and actors. It's not at all easy to play a blind person and she did an excellent job and so did her rescuer! Loved this!!!
Clever premise with lackluster execution. Don't think it knew exactly how it wanted to end. It felt like it didn't have a lot to say for the last 20 minutes, but needed to hit a runtime milestone. 5 or 6 out of 10. Probably would have been a 7 if she'd plugged her damn phone in before going to bed.
Cliched, predictable characters and events didn't help either. Toward the end, it just became a formulaic rinse and repeat process where she eliminated all the bad guys in exactly the same way. After the first two, I started checking my watch. In my opinion, the movie "Hush" follows the same concept, but with a deaf victim, rather than blind. That movie was done better.
The first worst movie to come out of 2022 and a terrible justification for woke culture that is sweeping modern cinema. The protagonist who is a blind girl is supposedly the hero and victim in this movie when she is portrayed as a selfish, greedy and ungrateful brat who not only wanted to collude with the bad guys to steal from her employer but got a police officer killed in the process! And we are supposed to be rooting for her? Like WTAF!!! And don't even get me started on how dumb the plot is when four grown healthy men couldn't even take on one blind teenage girl. My eyes felt insulted by the time the movie ended.
