What is the oldest Port house? According to the Croft house website this house is the oldest Port house as was founded in 1588 but according to the Kopke house website this is the oldest Port house as was founded in 1638. So who is wrong and who is right?
in fact Croft was the first house who shipped Douro wines in the UK but Kopke is the oldest Port wine house as was registered in 1638.
