Douglas Jacoby of the International Churches of Christ was the one who originally educated me about F. LaGard Smith. I am so thankful for Smith, as he is truly a diplomatic brother who strives to see us unified
I read his book on the topic a few years ago. I think it is basically the book version of these lessons. One thing that stuck out to me is that we can come together even with our differences for a round table discussion about things that are affecting our communities.
Smith carried on the vision that James DeForest Murch had in 1962.

Our obedience to the Vine and branches teaching by our Lord in John 15 seems to more than ever fall on deaf ears in the church. One of the scariest of all Christ’s teachings to me. The fields are still white unto harvest I believe Jesus would say for the reasons FLS is saying. I’m going to to do better brother Smith. Any honest Christian has to agree it seems to me. Thanks
This guy is one of the major windbags of the C of C who never just come out an says anything plain and clear,
This is the man who could write a 300 page treatise on how to flush a toilet so his lecture
was just full of blah, blah , blah...just like a lawyer would do.

@@dustinhuffman8089 Read his books and you will see how he goes at things. Did not say I heard the lecture. He must talk like the writes...windy blah leading to eventually saying something. We are not talking substance but communication. So, after reading his "windy" books who would want to sit thru
"windy" lecture.
@@TheProgressivePrimitivist Yeah, you missed something. This was a a comment on how he communicates not his substance . If you read his books you will find substance inter-mixed
with blather. He probably cannot tell a person in direct way how to hammer a nail.
