The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
My only issue with this is the serious lack of workplace safety. Nothing in the way PPEs. At least wear shoes guys damn. Cant say what a lifetime of inhaling wood dust is doing to those lungs either.

Tried this wearing shoes and safety glasses and it doesn't work, you need to wear flip flops and no eye protection.
ErrorError and wear very loose shirts around the jointer and plus take your foot and push the wood through the planer
