" You´d better believe it now! Iám a native of the coast and this scene with the Bedford lorry being pulled is "kILIFI" and was before known as " Takaungu crossing" before the diesel ferries were introduced. The driver had a nickname called" Baniani wa Mwaeba" my uncle´s friend called Samson Said, both dead. The diesel ferries were replaced with the new Kilifi bridge in 1991 built by the Sumitomo company of Japan. This vid. is a treasure and was shot 3 km. from my home village where the " Pwani University stands.Relax, the timeline given is accurate! Ibear witness, fingers crossed from Germany/ Bavaria, " Es stimmt alles"!
Just as colonialism of Britain by the Romans was a blessing to the UK, so was colonialism of Africa by the Brits. Of course, the brutalism was not nice, but still the cultural exchange and civilization passed on was amazing, I mean, the Brits introduced education and literacy, can't say the same about the Italians, Spaniards and Portuguese!?!
Who is here 2025😪😂😂😂This is way before my parents were born i never thought Kenya was once like this i know in the future generation someone will see my comment maybe 100 years later and be like wow! Hakuna Matata! Mzungu anajinice Africans working colonialism is so crap these roles will someday be reversed
