This is the single most emotional performance I have ever heard and also the reason why sayuri is my favourite singer of all time. Not only does everything she say resonate with me but even without knowing the lyrics you would be able to feel things. This is the closest I've gotten to being glad about being born in a while and I'm so thankful for it.
out of all the centuries, we're pretty lucky!!!at this century, pollution has not yet killed the world and over population hasn't occurred yet XD.btw in japan, there are low birthrates so it means they will not be the cause of overpopulation. (which is still sad cause it also means they will die out if they keep that up.) BUT I prefer them single especially since homosexuality is "more common?"
She's so cute and her guitar playing is always so full of emotion! Not only that but she's also improving in singing. On her previous street performances she used to miss a lot of notes on the chorus, but now she hits nearly all of them perfectly. I love how she changes the key for the last line, "waratteiru..." all the best of luck and more success in the future for Sayuri! What a very talented person, composing her own songs, plays the guitar, and is also a brilliant lyricist.
This was the video that sparked my interest in her. I knew her from the ED of Kuzu no Honkai, but not much else. Then I saw this, and it changed a lot in me. I hear it from time to time still, and I still enjoy it as much. "Nevertheless, let's just try to live a little bit more. Then I'll sing a prayer, praying that the light which seems so far away, will never be lost. I'll sing it till my last breath." This quote, it etched itself into my mind. The passion, the belief held, the way she is swaying about with her head. It was all incredibly genuine to me, and thus felt deeply relatable. I am sure in her last moments she still was singing, even just in her mind Rest in peace, Sayuri. Chase the clouds from above
The way she can naturally go about her guitar movements looks like the definition of “feel the music.” The amount of work it must’ve taken to have this much talent, I love this song

Too many people taking a video instead of properly look at her, it's such a rare chance to see her up close and they still prefer to look at her through a screen
And they do run fansites that’s basically their jobs. Also for keepsake purposes. I barely remember what I felt at my first concert but when I look back at videos, it all comes back.
Goosebumps and tears are a small part of what you feel from her singing. She puts such a soul into her voice. I am happy to live because I can hear such a person. Thanks to everyone who supports her~~ :3
when i saw this video for the first time and listen to her monolog and the way she performs mikazuki, i cried. now, i cry for a different reason. rest in peace sayuri 🥀🥀🥀
I tried to translate this on another video cause I was on youtubejp then I find your video like 3 days later fully kanji romaji and english subbed really good subs btw, very accurate.
me parece sorprendente como no se exaltan ni emocionan las personas que están a su alrededor y escuchan tan maravillosa canción. Se nota que son Japoneses XD
I found this song the other day and couldn’t understand why I felt so emotional and hooked to it because I’m not interested much in Japanese music. Now that I’ve read it and heard the speech to it just damn ..... damn 🖤😭❤️.
Everytime i watch this video, i always fall in love.. yappari sayuri no koto suki... someday...., maybe next year... when i go to japan, i hope that i can meet her in person and tell her how much i admire her :) sorry about my english, i hope you understand what im trying to say ^_^
Her singing is full of soul or rather say emotions. I like the message of the song and her guitar skills is full of life.
Let's listen to this again.
wait, why am I crying when she speech before singing? :')
Same😭😭
I lost it at "we are born to laugh, and to be happy"
cuz she seems about to cry when she said her speech xc
Same especially when youre alone rn at this moment
i think so

I'm sorry for your loss
She kept her promise and sang until her last breath, rest in peace Sayuri💜🤍🕊️
"ill sing it until my very last breath" 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀

So sad to see this after the recent news… You were amazing Sayuri, people will be listening to your music generations to come, Rest in Peace.
"ill sing it until my last breath".... that has just meant a different meaning now... rest in peace sayuri
Who else think at her speech part, is like world going to end soon and she's giving all of her best for the last time

0:39 To me, music is the crying voice. Beautiful words.
As for me, music is what let me evade from all the wrong things that hits me.
This hits deeply on a much more serious level after her passing🥺❤

Too many people taking a video instead of properly look at her, it's such a rare chance to see her up close and they still prefer to look at her through a screen
Yaki Tori maybe they're just zooming in with their phone
And they do run fansites that’s basically their jobs. Also for keepsake purposes. I barely remember what I felt at my first concert but when I look back at videos, it all comes back.
I think this video was recorded by a fan, so congrats to that fan
thats not what they want
they want to look back at it
I mean I would record too BUT, I wouldn't look through my screen. I would just hold my phone up but look directly at real life sayuri-chan!!!
Goosebumps and tears are a small part of what you feel from her singing. She puts such a soul into her voice. I am happy to live because I can hear such a person. Thanks to everyone who supports her~~

My number 2 favorite song of her.
Number 1 is Hikari to yami ❤
I can feel the emotion in her voice and actions
That guitar riff! Such a powerful performance
y'know, ever since i've listened to this song, i've been murdering my strings.
Honestly same
That way of playing guitar so emotionally while singing so perfect, and those lyrics. Just wow.
She's definitely my favorite japanese artist.
APPLAUDE HER MORE.
Rest in peace Sayuri🕊️
