Katie, I think you are such a great mom. You are patient and kind and really work with your kids to let them reach their full potential. I am not much younger than you (33), but I look up to you a lot. I really look forward to watching your vlogs everyday, you're a great family.
andrealjackson Macey Gaines is 2 and a half Everyone calls her Gaines Brooks is her baby brother, he is currently 9 months old Hope this helps! You will love this channel!
I haven't been watching UA-cam very much lately but coming back makes me realise how much Gaines has grown! Her speech is sooo good now! She's getting so big 😭😭😭
Aw ... that IS a wonderful feeling Katie! I'm so happy it feels like home. We've lived in our house for 15 years. I've never loved it... and I've never had that feeling.
Omg it feels like it wasn't that long ago when Gaines was terrified of sitting in rides! she's getting so big! I love being able to watch your blogs! thank you guys so much!
Katie, I can so relate to how you feel about the house. We bought our first home last June and the second we walked in with our keys it felt like we've been here forever. It was like breath of fresh air.
love seeing the house come together so quickly! its going to be beautiful! and yall look so happy! cant wait till we find a house hopefully soon! doing all these updates makes me excited to fix my own house!
Katie I was going to comment yesterday saying how happy you looked and you had a glow about you ... Gaines speak is so clear and in the correct context she's growing up fast Big hugs from England LOVE YOU GUYS XXXX
We just bought a house in October and it felt like home right from the moment we walked in. Love your new house and enjoy doing the little things to really make it home.
I really like the lighter gray for the play nook.. with it being a small space the dark might make it feel even smaller.. but they are both great shades of gray.
#1 grey for the paint in the playroom, BUT I think the teal blue you had in the living room of the other house would be sooo gorgeous in the playroom nook!
I prefer color #2, but for a small space it would make it appear even smaller and closed in. I would go for a fun color, like the teal from Gaines old room or the blue from your old living room. Love the new house guys, congratulations!
I love 1! I'm having the same struggle painting our play room....can't find the right color. And I've got two grey swatches up on the wall as well. Also, I feel you Katie on how you said the new house already feels like home. Our new house felt the same way for me, even before we moved in.
I like the darker one. It looks lavender on the camera. I was thinking the dark purple from your dining room would look fun for the playroom! With all the windows and natural light the darker will look nice and not too dark.
💜🐢! I'm so happy for you guys!!! When Mary Ann and I moved into our home it instantly felt like we were home and a weight was somewhat lifted despite the unpacking and all the things that needed doing it just felt good and homey and safe. So glad you feel like that Katie.
I love Gaines' accent! It's so cute to hear little ones with southern drawls. We are southern as well (South Carolina) but our kids haven't picked up much of an accent. God bless!
Hi Cullen and Katie...picking paint colours if you like a particular paint colour just have it made up In different strengths to suit the different rooms, I do this in my home and it works really well.
We recently redecorated a room in our house and used the color River Veil. I'm absolutely obsessed with it. It's a lighter grey with a hint of blue green. It would be perfect to use.
Of course I'm only seeing the pre-existing color that is on the wall on the video....but I like the color that it is. If those are the 2 colors that you are set on I would go with the lighter. The darker one will make the room seem smaller. Plus your couch is dark.
hi guys i think it's so rewarding to be in your new home and to be making new memories with Gaines and Brooks, i wish you both all the best in the future and all the good things life has to offer in the future ,God bless you all, i'm a new Subscriber and Look to watching more vídeos in the future. bye. 🏡
My husband and I had that same feeling in our new home recently. It just FEELS like home! You know how in a new place you kind of wake up going " where am I?".... we never have had that in this new home. It is like we have lived here for years. My kids are older but they still took some time to get that home feeling. :)
So happy for you guys feeling at home already ❤ A tip for anyone choosing paint colors: Paint a LARGE swath on your wall & leave it for a day or two. Check it out through the day because it'll look different depending on the hour & you might realize you don't like it 24/7. The color could look very different in the evening under artificial lighting than in natural sunlight, for example.
Go with the darker gray. We painted our kitchen/dining room light gray but it looks more blue with big windows and light on it. Wished we would have went darker!!
Paint color #2 for the playroom since you asked... Katie, I felt you were home right away too. I think It was because the home suits your family so well for starters. But, to me, the day that GrandBerry, GrandDolly, GrandDoc, Kelley, Jay, and the kids, were all over helping you get settled was very special and made your new house your home. How convenient is that island, huh? Lol✨💙👌💫😊
you are blessed kaie to have such a lovely home to raise your family!! you are blessed, dont forget that!! love you and your sweet family!! god bless you!! wendy harris!!
With those wood floors i wouldn't do grey at all, but certainly the darker one, it will go better! The light grey is too neutral for wood accents/flooring! You want to show off that wood. Then change your lighting to natural lighting light bulbs which will brighten the room with an early morning blueish tone instead of the yellowish/amber light bulbs you currently have.
It seriously blows my mind seeing how much Gaines has grown! She is such a gorgeous girl and she's so smart! You two are amazing parents!
Rebekah Laing agree!!
Rebekah Laing i know me to its crazy. I have been watching since she was 9 months old and now she's just a little lady
I know right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Couldn't agree more :D Cheers from family vloggers in Australia Check us out if you get the chance : )
Katie, I think you are such a great mom. You are patient and kind and really work with your kids to let them reach their full potential. I am not much younger than you (33), but I look up to you a lot. I really look forward to watching your vlogs everyday, you're a great family.
I like the lighter grey. It's more of a lighter more playful color for the kids. Love them both though! Grey is my favorite color.
number 1 looks more fresh and inviting and it looks more attractive in lighter paint
C - "Cuz I wanna" K- "Cullen!!!" haha. Inappropriate! You two crack me up.
I like the colour of your old living room , that would look awsome in the play nook (the blue )
lucie francis I was thinking the same thing!
lucie francis I absolutely loved that teal color too. I asked previously what the name was I'd love to use that color in my home.
lucie francis I thought the samething
Yes!!!
Lighter color because room is small
2
I love how Grandberry and Granddolly are at the top of Gaines fun list
Love the darker grey in the play area. The warm undertones look nicer than the cool undertones of the other grey.
I agree.
Kasey Fletcher p
I love when Gaines's hair is pulled back like that😍 so cute
I just subscribed to this channel because of the little girls accent is sooooo adorable omg!!! Cute family
Thanks for watching! :)
Cullen & Katie you were amazing parents I hope that is me in a couple years
andrealjackson Macey Gaines is 2 and a half
Everyone calls her Gaines
Brooks is her baby brother, he is currently 9 months old
Hope this helps! You will love this channel!
Gaines talks so well can't believe she grow up so fast!!!
A fun color like teal would be cute in the play room!!
Cullen: Hawaiian lei, cuz I wanna....
Katie: CULLEN...
😂
I like 1 since it's brighter and the room is small. Both are nice colors though.
1!!!! lighter brighter happy rooms!!
The first three and a half minutes of just Katie and Gaines and their interaction and dialogue together was just such a sweet mother daughter moment.
1 the lighter grey will make it a brighter room
I can't get over how grown Gaines is!! When I hear her talk, she sounds so intelligent! And she's so cute!! ❤️❤️ love you guys and your vlogs!!
Aww I wonder if Gaines misses the old house. Glad you guys feel comfortable in the new house!!
I haven't been watching UA-cam very much lately but coming back makes me realise how much Gaines has grown! Her speech is sooo good now! She's getting so big 😭😭😭
lighter grey!!!
I have never heard a 2 and a half year old talk as well as Gaines can! It's so amazing that she is so talkative and well mannered too!
Aw ... that IS a wonderful feeling Katie! I'm so happy it feels like home. We've lived in our house for 15 years. I've never loved it... and I've never had that feeling.
Oh Gaines is so adorable! You guys have a beautiful family, love y'all!
Omg it feels like it wasn't that long ago when Gaines was terrified of sitting in rides! she's getting so big! I love being able to watch your blogs! thank you guys so much!
im so happy for you guys ...the new house is wonderful ...looks like the kids are injoying all the new space ...congratulations 🎉
Katie, I can so relate to how you feel about the house. We bought our first home last June and the second we walked in with our keys it felt like we've been here forever. It was like breath of fresh air.
So happy your new house feels like home, Katie. Please keep your channel sweet and clean.
it great that you guys feel that your new home feels like home makes you settle in more quickly .
seriously love how Gaines named her pet fish Chloe! makes my heart happy!!
love seeing the house come together so quickly! its going to be beautiful! and yall look so happy! cant wait till we find a house hopefully soon! doing all these updates makes me excited to fix my own house!
Neither 1 nor 2. A gray with more blue in it would look warmer. Blue is actually the most psychologically soothing color, good for a playroom;)!
Katie I was going to comment yesterday saying how happy you looked and you had a glow about you ... Gaines speak is so clear and in the correct context she's growing up fast Big hugs from England LOVE YOU GUYS XXXX
I love that Gaines accent is coming out now when she talks!! Little southern bell!
I used the darker grey in my son's room. It brightens up smaller areas and looks amazing in natural light! I know Katie is big on natural lighting!!
We just bought a house in October and it felt like home right from the moment we walked in. Love your new house and enjoy doing the little things to really make it home.
I like the 1 gray color it would make the room feel cooler and lighter.....🤗
Love hearing Gaines talk ❤️ Her accent is so adorable
I really like the lighter gray for the play nook.. with it being a small space the dark might make it feel even smaller.. but they are both great shades of gray.
Cullen: "Hawaiian lei, cause I wanna lay...
Katie: Cullen! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My 3 year old daughter is the same way with her little brother! Always knocking him over with hugs!
#1 grey for the paint in the playroom, BUT I think the teal blue you had in the living room of the other house would be sooo gorgeous in the playroom nook!
I hope everyone is having a good day today! :)
I prefer color #2, but for a small space it would make it appear even smaller and closed in. I would go for a fun color, like the teal from Gaines old room or the blue from your old living room. Love the new house guys, congratulations!
I love watching Gaines grammar and speech improve so much!! She is growin too fast!!!! :)
The lighter gray! Number 1
The darker grey number 2 the first one has a bit of a bluer undertone.. Love u guys !
I vote paint color #1.
I am beyond in love with you guys! Brooks and Gaines make my heart melt
#2... all the windows with all the natural light...:) so pretty
1 looks better.
Sibling love will always be like that 😂😂 and I'm absolutely loving Gaines' accent coming through more and more so adorable!
You guys seriously are such AMAZING parents
I love 1! I'm having the same struggle painting our play room....can't find the right color. And I've got two grey swatches up on the wall as well. Also, I feel you Katie on how you said the new house already feels like home. Our new house felt the same way for me, even before we moved in.
Cullen and Harold have such similar sense of humors haha 😂
I like the darker one. It looks lavender on the camera. I was thinking the dark purple from your dining room would look fun for the playroom! With all the windows and natural light the darker will look nice and not too dark.
I actually think that pretty blue color you had in the old house on the fireplace wall would look so fun and pretty in the playroom 😁
The light gray #1....
💜🐢! I'm so happy for you guys!!! When Mary Ann and I moved into our home it instantly felt like we were home and a weight was somewhat lifted despite the unpacking and all the things that needed doing it just felt good and homey and safe. So glad you feel like that Katie.
I'm loving these new house vlogs!! 💙
Just listening to MG's day at school made me wanna cry 😭❤️. She so adorable!
#1. The other one is too dark and will make that room appear darker more closed in.
I agree
I would go with #1. It's brighter and will make the room feel bigger. I am loving your new house! It's beautiful!
I love Gaines' accent! It's so cute to hear little ones with southern drawls. We are southern as well (South Carolina) but our kids haven't picked up much of an accent. God bless!
Darker gray for sure. And good job Katie!!!
Yes this house definitely fits yall. I already forgot about the other one. The lighter paint is better to me.

Love the darker grey (2) for the playroom; it looks warmer to me.
Of course I'm only seeing the pre-existing color that is on the wall on the video....but I like the color that it is. If those are the 2 colors that you are set on I would go with the lighter. The darker one will make the room seem smaller. Plus your couch is dark.

brooks looks like a mini cullen 😍.. God bless your beautiful family ❤
2 for paint colour cosier colour in a cosy room plus if ceiling the same colour it will keep the room feeling spacious also!
I have a jetted tub and was told NO bubble bath when jets are on.
I cried when Gaines said the old house was home. I miss your old house so much!
I prefer the lighter one o ly because of the angles and windows you are going to have a lot of shades light to dark and it could get really dark.
Great vlog guys your new house is so big and got a lot more space that's so cool you guys rock
GRAY!!!! oh lord..... don't be afraid of COLOR!!!!
We have the requisite gray in our house and love it! The camera makes it look more blue but it's not :) needless to say, I'm partial to the requisite
So happy for you guys feeling at home already ❤

I like the lighter grey for the play room because I think it'd look nicer with fun accent colors if that what y'all are thinking of
Lighter color really pretty. I can't wait to see the house completed
Gaines is so cute in her ponytail!!
2! Love the dark gray for a cozy room like that
I LOVE the darker color for the play room! I think it fits a little better because the lighter one looks blueish
I love when Gaines says "I don't knowww"...
Gaines' little ponytail is so cute
Go with the darker gray. We painted our kitchen/dining room light gray but it looks more blue with big windows and light on it. Wished we would have went darker!!
its always a good vlog, when a vlog starts with MG
The darker gray for sure!!!!
I like 1. the 2 looked purple but could have just been in the camera. I know things look different in person
Go with 2 on the paint I wish it was a little lighter but the 1 is to blue ish and doesn't look gray to me or maybe it's the lighting
Careful with the bath booms from ULTA. my coworker used the pink ones once and it dyed her tub and her skin a little bit
I painted my kitchen functional grey with white accents... I love it!!
You guys make me smile everyday xxx
you are blessed kaie to have such a lovely home to raise your family!! you are blessed, dont forget that!! love you and your sweet family!! god bless you!! wendy harris!!
I like 1 , your home is so beautiful ❤❤
