Hello and thanks for watching. I've tried the "nice guy" approach. Things still get missed. DESCRIPTION. It's probably in there. This one has a couple of links for substantiating some of what it seen and mentioned in this video.
I think some people get in too big of a hurry and don’t take time to read everything. I’m guilty of that at times. If I comment it’s usually more of a “hey, how are ya?” rather than not comprehending the situation.
Afternoon Mr. B well as we have discussed the 592 (also 585) is a good saw and has a nice "feel" to it in other words a saw that feels good to use and delivers the goods. having run my one for over a year I haven't found anything I don't like and with the exception of a couple of broken tank to case springs and a broken top mount on inner spike it been faultless. I cover the repair I did on the spike mount on my instagram and to be honest I wonder why the factory didn't do it that way in the start although I'm only a wood cutter not an engineer lol. On the weight of the saw I had a chance to compare a 500i, 572 and 592 all in the same trim i.e. full wrap big spikes and HD clutch covers and in the hand they are not that far apart which is why I've found I'm using the 592 much more.
Master D, G'dy. Pardon the tardiness. You better than most know the results of the long drives to work. The 592s do run great in stock form. Your on the burly side. Makes since they all feel about the same. Once I get across the pond for that pint, remind me early on not to be to much of a smarty mouth.... The comment Steve T made about you working like a man killin snakes is apt. Also why I'll need that reminder. Back on topic. You have more experience with the 585, 592, and 5oois than most at this stage, I imagine. I hope people listen to what you have to say. If engineering did it perfectly there would be no reason for tinkerer!!! Thanks for stopping by. Hi to the Mrs. as well.
You saved most of the scale that’s all that matters anyway. You’re absolutely right about switching from saw to saw. I think Gary was pushing on it in a way it would land on that stump lol!
hi ! i have a new 261 and after running it for about 10 tanks with stihl hp ultra oil on 40:1 ratio the top of the piston is completly black...is this normal or anything wrong? spark plug is the right color...saw is running very well but didn`t expect that to happen so fast and also little bit of build up on the exhaust port
Normal for that crapppppp.... You yourself have made the case for me. The skirt will have more than it should wear as well. And what is the color of the plug? I'd get some H1-R from Bel-Ray. Mix it at the same concentration. At some point it will start to run better. You could lean down the concentration of oil s bit after that but it would depend upon other factors. Like, how well the chain keeps the engine rpms in check. Best of luck. Thanks for watching.
@@hotsaws101 it`s a manual carb...doesn`t seem to run rich..in my opinion anyway:D saw is a beast for the softwood i am cutting here...but i was worried if the oil is the problem or maybe it was normal and i was overreacting :)) thanks for the reply
@ion spataru I second the belray h1r. Been using it for 4yrs now. Top of piston and plug is only slightly tan/brown, no build up in the port or muffler. Occasionally take a torch to the spark arrestor. I highly recommend betray hi1. Watch his video on mix oils.
@@Kevin-fl4hb so it was the oil after all :D i`ve seen lots of people pulling mufflers out after using hp ultra and yea...kinda looked like mine.....glad i did a little research, def using belray now, thanks
The 592 weighs less than a 390 let alone a 395 which is what is replacing. It’s the same weight as a 661 as well so not sure what “it’s kinda heavy” is compared to. By the way your falling is second to none, I always marvel your skill in that aspect. Don’t always agree with your saw thoughts but that’s the good part about being in America, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Anyway nice clip and have good day
Back to your mother’s basement with you he’s talking about it weighs more than 500i he carries most of his days A lot of people like German saws because the parts are considerably cheaper but as far as Long durability I don’t know a lot of it has to do with the oil you run I would think
@@snapkrispies5324 what in the hell are you talking about? Mothers basement, judging by your response you need to stay there! German parts are hardly cheaper. Your mother shouldn’t let you out without her permission that’s for sure

Hi to the Mrs. as well.
Bless you tree brother. Hope you have a great and safe week.
That saw with the aggressive razor-sharp chain is begging for more. If the earth was perfectly flat, I would still break tops.
Joy to see. Stuff happens !
Masterful!
Thank you.
