Thank you. The input power into the coil is 10kVA. The transformer outputs 4500V @ something over 2A and this is half-wave doubled. The plate voltage and current during voltage peak could be around 11kV and 3-3.5A, mean values are lower of course.
The largest electric field transmits a coil with no arc. :D Lets say a continuous wave coil without a breakout point. The output from my coil is proportional to the power handling capability of the tube, which is easily 10 kW.
@@jmartis2 So is there a way to Faraday cage a large Tesla Coil's top load to where you can create an arc proof environment? Without affecting transmission distance?
It's a classic half-wave (50 Hz) modulated CW oscillator. The operating frequency of the oscillator is 300 kHz. A ground arc is always an arc, regardless of frequency, which appearance depends on current. A "proper" plasma flame into air occurs at frequencies of approx. 10 MHz and more.
jmartis2 Oh thank you now i get it... Btw awesome tesla coil and pretty powerfull tube.I may get one GU-39b and actually build a SW transmitter...But they these tubes are kinda expensive.... Anyways this tube is the one with the broken filament?
@@jmartis2 my gu5b coil is not quite as powerfull im runniing 2 mots in series with level shift and thinking of adding 2 more mots in parllel with that .... good chat man thanka
Staccato sounds just like drums! Amazing!

Beautiful arcs! Very nice coil as well.
Absolutely awesome!

That's a violent VTTC
That thing is just wicked.Nice.
wow that has serieus power
rms current in a few amperes range are passed through the grounded wire via ground arc
I love it, it’s so Frankenstein... 🤯
Very nice!
That's insane!
AMAZING!!!!
that's pretty sweet dude
I like it
Way cool

hi, would you mind sharing the schematic for this circuit, it looks fantastic
lovely but denger also
Very nice! Any idea what plate voltage and current is being applied?

Do you have a write up on the build or a schematic?
Guys, you also dont see russian vttc with 2 METER sparks! (i try to find this video)
So interesting... Which tesla coil design transmits the largest EM field? How did you get the output so large?

@@theplasmaprince8651 Not exactly sure what youre talking about, but yes, inside a metallic enclosed topload, there is zero electric field.
@@jmartis2 Hmm okay! Thanks!
Is this CW? And at what frequency does this run?
And please explain me if u can plasma flame occurs only with high frequencies?

This is a different tube and this one is 100% working. I think you can get it for around $120 on ebay
What is the arc voltage and amperage?
Hello, I don't know for sure, but the amperage could be close to 1 amp rms, the voltage maybe 60kV peak or so
tesla
whats the secondary specs
550 turns, 12cm dia 58cm length
@@jmartis2 nice work whats the Rfess
@@morganchandler5126 You can calculate it. However I think it was around 450kHz.The running frequency was much lower because of the lower pole tuning.
