Think I’ll do that. Hey thanks for not leaving us hanging....I was wondering what you were gonna do with those license plates. It was hurting my OCD to see them come down, especially since they were all angled the same. ✌️
Hehe thanks for watching, sorry I didn’t include that in the video
I got plates back on the wall nice and square 🙌
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
great idea, I've been thinking about something similar. I was thinking that they should load on in the other direction but after watching your setup it looks like this will work better.
Best set up on UA-cam! Very good video.
Hehe thank you 😊 it means a lot 🤘
Glad I can help
That’s an awesome set up I’m actually gonna build it right now
Yup, still holding up after a year
Best HD mod for $10
Thats a great idea thanks for sharing
You welcome, easy project 🤘
Just need to find room on my wall now! Great video, thanks!
Good idea to get your tour pack and backrest up off the floor. 👍🏻
Why did you drill new holes in the bottom of the tour pack, Were they not already drilled for your rack?
Thanks. My cost was a little more but it works great.
Great Idea and Awesome Video. I might switch which is the top Item versus bottom. The Lighter or easier to handle should be on top. Another good thing might be making both with spacer so you could switch Top or Bottom positions. I guess you’d have to make sure the have enough room in both positions.
Thanks for some good Ideas.
I’m thinking of using the same idea for the removable Windshield.
I remember when I could lift 50#'s effortlessly. I might need a sliding one with a wench. LOL
True that
That thing is heavy
Definitely going to try this myself. Thanks for posting.
No problem, super easy project
Muito obrigado pela dica!!! Idéias simples e econômicas que funcionam tão bem quanto as originais caras!!!
Yes, it’s still on the wall 🤘
Thanks for watching
Been combing you tube for a while this was my favorite just bought all the parts to build 1 for myself! Thanks!!!!
Thanks 🤘 cool, easy, useful and cheap project
Built mine but 1/2 copper tube won’t allow the lock to snap into place. All 1/2 inch copper tubes should be the same thickness right?
Good project, thanks
That was awesome ! I’m going to use your method for sure!
Thanks, just make sure you install that rack bit lower on the wall... tourpack it’s pretty heavy
Motor Head 963 oh you got that right ! Got something snapping and cracking in the shoulder but your method really makes it easier! Thanks again MH!
No problem 🤘
Nice idea. I was wondering about the quick disconnect rack. Did you remove the permanent one and replaced it with a quick disconnect for an OEM trunk? Please advice. I am in the process of formulating a plate bracket that will allow me to use an 08 and under trunk on my 09+ quick disconnect support system of my RK. If you have any ideas, I truly welcome them.
Yes I did remove permanent bracket and installed quick disconnect on my 2013
I wouldn’t know much about older models sorry
@@MotorHead963 Thanks for getting back to me. Love your idea. I saw a company that sells the same concept of your mount. However, they are about $140.00. Thanks for sharing!
Pretty slick idea
how long is that piece of wood, length and wide
About 1ft/3.5ft
But you can go pretty much with any size
You know, you could sell those for 100 dollars, easy!
Hehe for sure 🤔
Pretty good idea
You could even sell the parts with “Some Assembly Required” kits.
I love it, great Job!!!!!!
Thanks
Very Nice
What size is the piece of wood
3’x1’
Nice deal man ! I thank you for the Idea . 👍👍👍👍👍
You welcome, cool, cheap DIY 🤘
@@MotorHead963 Keep up the good work . and again thanks !
Now this is awesome
how long did you cut the pipe ?
looks great man!
Thanks, for $10 it’s beautiful 😅😎
great job little cost thanks for video, by the way what size board did u use
thanks for watching, I think its 1x4 all depends how Manny accessories you wanna place on it. super easy project
cheers
It's at least gotta be a 1x6 but I was curious too
Assuming they are all the same I used a 1x8 because the mount was just shy of 10” inside. I also used 5/8” steel round bar instead of copper pipe, but I used this video for the idea I just changed the materials a little.
Great to hear it, pretty easy and inexpensive project 🤘
Fantastic job looks great
Thank you
1 x 10 board is what im guessing ?
1x5 would do
I used 1x8. I measured my mount and it was a little short of 10”
What size did u cut the wood
Its 3’x9.5”
@@MotorHead963 thanks
Great idea.
Thanks 💪
Brilliant
Thanks, I couldn’t justify spending $100 on something similar 🤘
