I caught the Hackney Diamonds '24 show in Seattle. Looking forward to a live release of the tour. I agree, one of the best tours they've done in their 60 plus years as a band. Keep going!
I can’t agree more on Jumping Jack Flash. When Keith hit that opening riff it literally made the entire stadium feel like it was being electrocuted. That doesn’t even make sense but it was the best way I could describe it.

Fun tour and I’m always soooo grateful for every Stones tour, song, album, guest appearance, interview, etc., especially at this stage of their career. It’d make my top 10 in tours, but even if it was my 10th best, that would still place it better than 90% of all other live shows I’ve seen from other bands 😉 👅
i enjoyed all your videos and your videos actually got me to buy a ticket in NJ on the same day of the show in the upper deck and it was the best decision i every made
Justin, thanks for all your posts during the tour, truly enjoy your channel and your insights (and those of your guests when you have them). I loved the show I saw in Vancouver, incredible energy throughout. I agree with your analysis of Steve Jordan. He was a major contributor. Chanel Haynes was also great. Mick was what we always expect from him, the greatest front man ever. Most of all, It's Keith who looks yournger and re-energized. He's the one who always claimed in interviews to take this band as far as it can go, and it seems he's determined to not be the reason they'd have to call it quits. He's obviously made lifestyle changes for the sake of the band, so he's true to his word, and it showed in his performances and his energy level. Ronnie was great as well. In 2022, I thought Ronnie looked a little tired compared to previous tours. He did his job adequately, but the energy level wasn't quite as high as previous tours. It was understandable given his illness and surgery in 2017-18, and the shock of the loss of Charlie was still being felt by everyone, I am certain. So now, in 2024, with Keith and Ronnie obviously committed to pushing ahead, the Stones could go on for a while still. Mick had also said at the launch of "Hackney Diamonds" that they had some other new songs in the tank (2/3 or 3/4 of an album if I remember). I don't expect a new album this year, but maybe next year. I'd also like to mention Daryl Jones, loved his bass and how all his notes just add to the songs without overdoing it, kind of like what Steve is doing on the drums. Chuck Leavell, too, is an absolute master, guiding the band through the setlist. Hats off to him. Same with Bernard and his great back-up vocals, and, finally, the tremendous horn section seamlessly adding to the overall performance. It's incredible how the Rolling Stones keep sounding exactly as we would want them to sound, Yes, of course, it's the common thread of the Glimmer Twins, unquestioned. No Glimmers, no Stones, period. But it's all these extra musicians who play within the soundscape of what defines the Rolling Stones as a band, and keep the dream alive. Thanks again, Justin.
Thank you Michael for your awesome post and kind words. Very nicely put all the magic that is happening on stage. Amazing as you say how they still sound exactly how we want them to sound. As if all the musicians know this and give them the space they need to achieve that. Great point!
@@sabine4161HI Sabine, My first language is English, and I used Google translate to read your German comments in English. Thank you for your kind words and letting me know you're from Bremen. I love the live album "Bridges to Bremen ", a great 1998 performance by the Rolling Stones. Did you attend that concert? They played "Like a Rolling Stone" at that show, but not "Wild Horses". Anyway, I'm not sure what got you to think I was German, but it really is nice to exchange comments with you. Love the Rolling Stones, always! Good day to you, Sabine, and thanks again.
@@michael1415 Hi Michael, thanks for your nice answer. It seems to me your Name Sound German...what a funny idea. Yes,I joined the Concert in Bremen 1998,fantasic! But I must say : at This time my Focus was on Mick, the dominant Frontmann. Not so much on Keith. So,later I saw a Video: Keith singing"Thief in the night"oh,it's great. At the end He introduced very charming Leah Wood, the daughter of Ronny. She was Background Singer next to Lisa Fischer.Perhaps you find IT on UA-cam.Ah,Michael,you was in Vancouver at This Concert,do you live there?I Wish you a Happy week-end .Greetings ,Sabine
I wouldn't be surprised if they take a short break and then head back into the studio to polish up the remaining tracks from HD. HD is fantastic, the HD Tour was sensational and they are on their hottest streak in decades. Keith has often said in interview that the best time for a band to go into the studio is after a tour so I wouldn't bet against it!! How great would it be if 2025 yielded more new material as well as a European tour 🙏🙏
What!! No show filmed? That is something new for the Stones. They (as far as I know) usually film every concert they play. That's a shame if they didn't film all these fantastic shows from this tour! By the way. I haven't been listening to Hackney Diamonds for a few weeks back. But the other day I did and I must tell you I was blown away yet again by the Stones on this album. Listening to all songs without skipping any of them out. My heart beating fast on the first songs before the soothing Depending on you did cool me down a bit before the uptempo groovers is on again and then Dreamy skies just as soothing as DOY. My favourite song for the moment is Driving me too hard. Gosh what an album. It's really up there competing for the no 1 spot of best Stones albums ever. Thanks once again to Justin for a fantastic cover of this tour. You're doing agreat job!
Much thanks Hans. Really appreciate your support! You've made me excited to sit with Hackney Diamonds again--it's such a strong album--it's quite impressive they were able to absolutely nail it. Hope the follow up is just as good 😎😎
@@HangFireStonesPodcast Yes it's a really strong album and I'm superhappy that they produced such a strong one this time. The follow up will certainly have a hard time to challenge HD or is it going to be even stronger? That's the billion dollar question. I'm happy you got exited by my post. You've made me happy about the Stones lately with all your great work on your channel. Keep it up!
I read they want to go back to Rio beach. Been great following the tour with you Justin. First show i you tubed ar 5am UK time to see how it'd gone in Houston. JJF is Keith😊
I saw the last show in the Ozarks. Great tour. My only disappointment was that they all didn't come out to the B stage and do some songs like they normally do. Mick ventured out there sometimes but I was surprised they all didn't do a B stage set.
I love your channel. Keep it coming'!!!!! Loved seeing The Stones at Levi Stadium. Great seats and the show was fantastic!!!!! Thank you for following the tour and providing your great point of view. Love It. I love The Rolling Stones!
I would say that this is the tour that defied expectation. I went to the first show here in Houston, expecting to be disappointed, but they were much better than I hoped, they looked like they were having fun, the crowd was enjoying it; how could I doubt the Stones? Today is about 5 years since I first saw the Stones live, they played in Houston, almost exactly five years ago, I think that it was July 27, 2019. I couldn't afford a ticket for Steel Wheels, I might have hung around outside Three Rivers Stadium for bit. I did see the X Pensive Winos in 1993, which was great to see them in a small theater rather than a stadium. The Stones might be the best tour of this year, but does it compare to past Stones tours, such as the 1972 STP, or the tour that is captured on the live album at El Mocambo, or even Steel Wheels? I like Hackney Diamonds more and more, and I agree with this video that Jumpin' Jack Flash has been a highlight on this tour, the guitars sounded rough and like a young band just getting out of their garage, in a good way.
Like I've said before Chicago and L.A. were definitely live bum worthy, maybe NJ 2 also with that great Midnight Rambler. These guys will outlast many younger fans!
Thank you so much for covering the tour in your videos! So fun to watch and keep up to date on what's up with the Stones :) So glad for the community and love of this band, thanks for your insights and dedication. Glad you got to see them a few times this tour, I was at both Chicago shows and it was truly amazing! Also... what are those supposed London dates? 👀
5:00 Imho Keef delivered the funkiest Jumpin' Jack Flash guitar parts this tour!! 😍 Maybe he got back into the mood of the session backing Aretha Franklin with Steve back in the 80s? ❣
Hi Justin, About this tour being recorded, check out Ronnie’s set list art for Santa Clara July 17, 2024. Next to Can’t Always Get in brackets is “filmed” 🤔 Thanks for the reviews!
I saw two shows Cleveland and night 2 Chicago. I had no idea. Total magic. Mick moves like a teenager Yeah the twin guitars on Jumpin blew my brain out
thank's for you're channel good info and research if you had the chance to see the stones it was worth the price as it's probably once in a lifetime I've seen them twice and the last time was over 20 year's ago they we're younger so to speak and I'm glad I saw the original drummer this last tour they were a little slower but they sounded just as good which is crazy at their age and there still selling out stadiums I guess they are greatest rock and roll band in the world still like I said you'll never see anything like them again
I think it’s almost a certainty we will get a live album from the tour. The Stones the last 15-20 years have always put out live albums of their tours. I don’t see why this would be any different. I know I would buy it !
I was surprised that in addressing “what’s next” for the Stones, you didn’t even mention a new studio album. Mick said that half of one was already done during the Hackney Diamonds sessions. The band all seemed very pleased with HD, as was I, so might they be looking forward to completing the follow up?
Great tour reports, Justin! One of the 3 greatest tours ever? Hmmm. I started listing my favourite Stones tours and went: 1969? Yup. 1972? Yup. 1975-76? Yup. 1978? Yup. 1981-82? Yup. 1989-90? Yup. 1997-98? Yup. 2002-03? Yup. And so on - the show at the Fonda Theatre in 2015? Yup. The only tour I am a little critical of is probably the 1994-95 Voodoo Lounge tour, but it's a bit hard to pinpoint quite why. Anyway, point made - what wasn't a great Stones tour?
You forgot to mention the autumn 1963 UK Tour with Bo Diddley and the Everly Brothers! 😉 Seriously, I agree that they're ALL great - but this one must rate as high or higher than anything they've done since the late '90s.
@@peterchecksfield9958Watch No Security 1999, they never brought that energy back again I don’t think. Keith at the tail end of the height of his playing, Woody drunk but hitting the best licks, Mick in a muscle shirt running like a madman, deep cuts like Moonlight Mile and you got the silver, small stage, it’s fantastic. Babylon is probably my favorite tour next to 2002-2003
I as well wish they would throw in One Hit to The Body, but if they did, I know would want other songs added, too ( Let it Loose?). I love what you said about Keith’s guitar blasting through the speaker on JJF. Rather than the song seeming dated, it seemed fresher than ever. How they do that I haven’t a clue ….except to point to the feeling that goes in to their playing. Anyway, thank for your UA-cam posts. Your comments add so much! And long live our favorite band!!
Thanks much! It's true--the song sounds fresh and just as magical. It helps that they play it on how they feel every night. The song is still alive and breathing! Like they are!
Thanks a lot Justin for all these reports, interviews and personal thoughts about the band you gave us these past months. That was great to follow. I was in NYC these past ten days and didn’t miss the occasion to buy the Bill German’s book. Coming back to France now, and hoping to see my favourite band next year in Paris. I skipped the previous tour, but I surely won’t do so next year 😅 And by the way, what’s next for your podcast ?
It was simply outstanding in Philly it's sad that people talk about when they put out reports that they should retire well there's not a young band that I would like they were just so tight the girl backup singer fit right in the crowd went from about 8 to 10 years old to 70 and it was Non-Stop Keith tore it up so happy where are you and will we ever see them again I would love to see one thing one show sit down and do nothing but their country music they are the best country band that there ever was along with every other crown they take. because they earned
I heard the sound was iffy this last tour. I wonder if they changed their front of house soundman. I saw an interview with the one who definitely was the one before this tour. He had been all the tours for awhile. And seemed like a dream guy.
Could have played more deep cuts, which are just as good as the songs played on the radio. This would introduce to the casual fan there's more to the Stones than 10 songs.
Steve Jordan, Chanel Haynes, .....love talent but i missed Charlie's imperfect but perfect ghost notes , at least the sound engineers could have mixed his snare to sound like Charlie's much higher bigger with today's technology, cause he " sounded " generic to my ears.....Seeing Jordan with Glimmers is like seeing Kenny Jones in The Who....( both are talented musicians, still)..Mick, Keef, Ronnie , Darryl.... Awesome as always... Thanks Justin bro
Interesting Sal! Great to get your thoughts and understand your position. Interesting to see you line Jordan up with Kenny Jones. Never thought of that but I can kinda see what you're coming from tho don't see it that way. There were a few times when Steve Jordan really got that Charlie "snap" on the snare I thought on this tour! Thanks for being a great supporter of the channel dude
Great recap Justin, and yes, the Stones continue to deliver! It really is a marvel that they remain so good live...I saw them at the second Chicago show, and it was fantastic--though too short for me, as usual! As for Hackney Diamonds, I do wish they would feature more from the album in the live sets--really I only expected three songs at most, since they seem to tailor the sets too heavily on standards. Four songs off the latest album may be as good as they are inclined to do anymore, though I though Get Close and Depending on You would have been natural for inclusion, and would have sounded great in those contexts. Even thinking back to Bigger Bang...that was a LONG album (CD, really) at 16 tracks--and they really only played three songs during those shows, maybe four a couple of times. I don't think they give their newer music enough attention--and in turn, the fan base that goes to these shows are likely not buying or downloading the album--if they were, that album would be sneaking back into the Billboard 200, as opposed to Hot Rocks, once again, doing so. Looking at your song breakdown, it looks like 10 songs were performed at EVERY show (and that included Angry), and I recall Mick saying many years ago that their sets had to include about 12 "must do's"...I think Midnight Rambler and Miss You needed to be among that 12. The show I was at, they did Miss You in that newer, extended 'jam'-like arrangement--and I thought it was among the best versions I've heard!! Thanks again for all of your great work on the Stones!
Thanks so much for watching! Great you got to see the 2nd Chicago show--that looked like a stunner. One of the highlights of the tour for sure. Let's hope we get more HD songs next year!
JJF was sooooo good that I went out and bought a Fender Custom Shop 55 Limited Edition Sherwood Green Telecaster. I will never play JJF on my 52 Reissue Butterscotch again. Ever. Stop buying guitars, Keef! I can't keep up.
I don't think we'll get a Blu Ray of any shows. That's a real shame. I do think you're right that we'll get Europe next year. As far as another album goes... I'll be honest, I don't see it happening really. Love to be wrong about that though. And if they do another deluxe edition than which album should it be? I'd love for them to do something unexpected there and give us either an 80s or 90s album in a deluxe set.
My theory as to why the Stones were so great on this tour, I think it was because the Stones are abstaining from alcohol and other stuff. They are at an age where they don't need that stuff any more and it helps their performance.
A very good point. been an ardent Stones fan since 62 and now nearly 80. I too have given up the booze (well almost) so I can continue with my art and music and yes, it just makes a huge difference. The Stones also fed off their love for what they do and the positive feedback they must get from audiences. love'em.
@@HangFireStonesPodcast They did it '99. These stadium shows are not selling out. 18K in Missouri and had to discount tickets. But arena shows aren't as likely to be able to control parking. Huge money in parking lots, most of the parking spaces are spread out and privately owned in arena areas.
@@HangFireStonesPodcast Why do you think so? I wouldn't say they are more popular now? Unless they do a proper Farewell Tour. Which honestly, I think they need to do soon. Someone is going to become unable to tour. If Ronnie dies do you think they'll do a Jagger/Richards named tour? Charlie was so important. Would Ronnie be a trigger to end the Stones or would they keep going as the Stones? Yes they look great but all the drinking and drugs have to created some damage. Just being sober now doesn't undo the decades of alcoholism. The damage is done. Kidneys? Ronnie and Keith probably have liver and kidney damage. But they just don't broadcast what stage they are at.
in the top 3 tours? you must be kidding...,,,,,, I'm very happy you all had a great time witnessing these shows and that the Stones are still rolling (and rocking) so far in their career..but sorry to say at their age their most eclictic and best tours are behind...1969 American tour, 1972 American Tour, 1973 European tour, 1981/1982 American and European tours were imo better and introduced many new songs at the time....2002/2003 licks tour had different setlists every night and different venues (stadiums, arenas and clubs).....I'm a fan since 1970 and have been to many different tours, so happy that they are still performing at such a high level..but let's stay realistic
So glad you loved the shows so much. I agree that Jordan was fantastic and the band totally delivered. Personally the last thing I want is another live album /DVD with these warhorses live again. I already have too many..lol. But I'd love a live CD of the deep cuts that were played once or twice. I'd say Wild Horses was an incredible version and they can throw in Get off Of my Cloud which can use another good live official release. We already have four Hackney live tracks on Racket live release. But yea, throw on Monkey Man, Heartbreaker, She's A Rainbow, Out Of TIme!!!!!, Emotional Rescue, Far Away Eyes, Sweet Virginia and the version of Time Is On My Side and there's a winning live CD.
Every tour from '69 to '81 is miles better. Keith even in the depths of his worst heroin performances played better than he does now. I love Keith dearly but he's not in the same league anymore. His terrible arthritis is hurting him. Plus Jagger used to be sooooo much cooler. I did love the 2015 show I saw but the Stones used to be a totally different band back in the day. Even the maligned '75 tour was so fun looking. I still love the Stones so much but it's really no contest for the pre-'89 live Stones. Just 2 different bands almost. No Charlie, Stu, Bobby, etc? I don't know what a fan would be thinking.
I disagree about jj flash. Along w Satisfaction, too diff from original. Agree and disappointed not more off of Hackney. Get close and depending on you needed to be added without removing others. Disagree on Jordan's contribution. Along w Levelle as musical director, they're not pushing enuff the new songs. Rather have em take out a warhorse song and add a new
There's absolutely no way I can possibly agree w you more, Doug. 200%. Because way too many warhorses and short on Hackney songs and deep cuts, is why I didn't see them in Chicago. Don't want to hear painted black or Gimme Shelter when there are 100 other songs they hardly play and luv to hear
They re still the GOAT, a life death age defying experience but those Hackney Diamonds songs are so ff-in average except Sweet Sounds, can t handle them.
Appreciate the enthusiasm, but a top 3 tour all time? Yikes Give it the credit its due for the time in which it happened, but lets not disrespect the many great tours of the past.
Love your channel! I did enjoy the Stones latest album and wanted to see them in concert again. However, I live in Oklahoma and they didn’t come near us exact Houston. I have a form of Parkinson’s and I do not travel well. I was so disappointed I couldn’t go this time.🥲🙏🏻🎧
Every show is filmed just in case it is the last but I think they bring in a bigger camera crew with notice of filming warnings when they intend to film for a release, which they have not done since Havana Moon 2016. I would love to see them release a 4 show/disc No Filter DVD. Paris (2017) London (2018) Miami (2019) and LA (2021)
Exactly, they expand the camera fleet when they are filming something for a release. No reports of extra cameras either on this tour. Obviously they have the screen footage but I don't think that is shot in the same way for home viewing.
@@HangFireStonesPodcast They could probably use the great camerawork from some of the kind and generous people who film from the pit to fill in the blanks, if they needed to. It wouldn’t cost them a dime. 😂
@@HangFireStonesPodcastI went to the U2 Vertigo show that was filmed in Chicago. They had signs up everywhere saying that the show was being filmed and by attending you give permission that your image might be captured and used.
I agree. I love the album. All the songs are so good. and the order they gave them is so perfect. I listen to it over and over again.
Keep it up!

Been great following the tour with you Justin. First show i you tubed ar 5am UK time to see how it'd gone in Houston. JJF is Keith😊
glad you enjoyed the run! More to come!
I saw the last show in the Ozarks. Great tour. My only disappointment was that they all didn't come out to the B stage and do some songs like they normally do. Mick ventured out there sometimes but I was surprised they all didn't do a B stage set.
Ronnie will get out there to that area but it's a miracle if keith does too!
Great wrapup, Justin, and cheers to seeing the Stones again in 2025!
Thanks for your great footage..you had the best audio of nearly everyone hence me using JJF! 😁😁🎥🎸

Great assessment of the tour! Totally agree 👍 It was a solid tour and i loved all 5 shows I went to 🎶🎤🎸
Thanks Justin!
Thank you Gabi!! See you in Europe...????
A great tour indeed! Bring on the Blu-Ray!
Like I've said before Chicago and L.A. were definitely live bum worthy, maybe NJ 2 also with that great Midnight Rambler. These guys will outlast many younger fans!
Depends on what you qualify as a deep cut as Before They Make Me Run was a good surprise for me, one of my favorite songs.
thanks for watching--glad you enjoyed it! No word on London yet..I'd expect summer!
Thank you for those reviews sir ! I enjoy it really much !
My pleasure - glad to hear it! hope you enjoy what is coming up!
5:00 Imho Keef delivered the funkiest Jumpin' Jack Flash guitar parts this tour!! 😍 Maybe he got back into the mood of the session backing Aretha Franklin with Steve back in the 80s? ❣
I heard that too!!
Fantastic. You are great. I saw then SoFi and you are so right. It was my 8th time starting in 64
Something extra special on this tour!
Yes one hit to the body

Absolutely agree on JJF as the highlight!

About this tour being recorded, check out Ronnie’s set list art for Santa Clara July 17, 2024.

Thanks for the reviews!
Thanks for heads up! Hopefully they recorded more than just one song 🎥🎸
I saw two shows Cleveland and night 2 Chicago. I had no idea. Total magic. Mick moves like a teenager
Yeah the twin guitars on Jumpin blew my brain out
I was there too - hell yeah!
thank's for you're channel good info and research if you had the chance to see the stones it was worth the price as it's probably once in a lifetime I've seen them twice and the last time was over 20 year's ago they we're younger so to speak and I'm glad I saw the original drummer this last tour they were a little slower but they sounded just as good which is crazy at their age and there still selling out stadiums I guess they are greatest rock and roll band in the world still like I said you'll never see anything like them again
thanks for watching!
Very successful!!
Keef was incredible at the show I saw!

I think it’s almost a certainty we will get a live album from the tour. The Stones the last 15-20 years have always put out live albums of their tours. I don’t see why this would be any different. I know I would buy it !
I hope so. though they really only have put out albums after a tour to support new albums
Seriously, I agree that they're ALL great - but this one must rate as high or higher than anything they've done since the late '90s.
Babylon is probably my favorite tour next to 2002-2003
Agree wholeheartedly 😎👍👍
Stones live in Europe 25!!! What a dream to see them in The Netherlands!
Hope it happens!

Please keep us informed if you hear any news about a album that would be so exciting I hope it would have a great cover😊😊
Will do 🙌
It was simply outstanding in Philly it's sad that people talk about when they put out reports that they should retire well there's not a young band that I would like they were just so tight the girl backup singer fit right in the crowd went from about 8 to 10 years old to 70 and it was Non-Stop Keith tore it up so happy where are you and will we ever see them again I would love to see one thing one show sit down and do nothing but their country music they are the best country band that there ever was along with every other crown they take. because they earned
Never thought of ‘One Hit (to the body)’. As a live song. Would sound great though and would be nice to see Dirty Work get a bit of love nonetheless.
ua-cam.com/video/kC3rQxeal-U/v-deo.html
absolutely!
I heard the sound was iffy this last tour. I wonder if they changed their front of house soundman. I saw an interview with the one who definitely was the one before this tour. He had been all the tours for awhile. And seemed like a dream guy.
It was inconsistent based on the different venues and where you were sitting apparently. I'm sure Dave Natale is still on board with them....
Thank you Justin, for all your engagement and all your rock'n rolling stones informations & conclusions!!! You did also a terrific job!
appreciate it!
I know they filmed YCAGWYW at one stop, Santa Clara maybe? It was notated as “filmed” on the setlist.
Would be great!
One Hit to the Body ha! Yea Chanel was epic too - I agree - Keith JJF 2024 - nothing even close to that
💯🔥🔥
JJF was sooooo good that I went out and bought a Fender Custom Shop 55 Limited Edition Sherwood Green Telecaster. I will never play JJF on my 52 Reissue Butterscotch again. Ever. Stop buying guitars, Keef! I can't keep up.
ha wow very cool!
Exactly one year from today… Rolling Stones are playing in London according to premier events
🤞🤞
Justin ,How about a Its Only Rock and Roll 50th Anniversary,No Party,no Release a Deluxe Edition?
We can only hope for IORR!
Micks voice was so good this tour, I thought it was A.I.
Haha agreed 💯
I don't think we'll get a Blu Ray of any shows. That's a real shame. I do think you're right that we'll get Europe next year. As far as another album goes... I'll be honest, I don't see it happening really. Love to be wrong about that though. And if they do another deluxe edition than which album should it be? I'd love for them to do something unexpected there and give us either an 80s or 90s album in a deluxe set.
We can only hope they put out something but very much doubt it, if they do put out something I'd bet i'll be after the Europe run
Wasn’t there talks of a Hackney Diamonds documentary?
there was yeah. no idea how much more work they did on that or if it's still planned!
My theory as to why the Stones were so great on this tour, I think it was because the Stones are abstaining from alcohol and other stuff. They are at an age where they don't need that stuff any more and it helps their performance.
That's a great thought actually! Very very true. What makes these later tours so special is that they're all clean and on the same page. Yes!
@@HangFireStonesPodcast Good point indeed. I never thought I'd see the day that Keith and Ron (and Bill) would even give up smoking!
A very good point. been an ardent Stones fan since 62 and now nearly 80. I too have given up the booze (well almost) so I can continue with my art and music and yes, it just makes a huge difference. The Stones also fed off their love for what they do and the positive feedback they must get from audiences. love'em.
@@peterchecksfield9958 no kidding!
We only got 2 new songs in Philly
They could do a winter tour of arenas. Not likely but a dream.
HA. If only...
@@captainkirk70 they also toured mainly arenas for US leg of tour in 2013. Those days over
@@HangFireStonesPodcast Why do you think so?
Undercover of the night needs to be in again
Absolutely 💯
in the top 3 tours? you must be kidding...,,,,,, I'm very happy you all had a great time witnessing these shows and that the Stones are still rolling (and rocking) so far in their career..but sorry to say at their age their most eclictic and best tours are behind...1969 American tour, 1972 American Tour, 1973 European tour, 1981/1982 American and European tours were imo better and introduced many new songs at the time....2002/2003 licks tour had different setlists every night and different venues (stadiums, arenas and clubs).....I'm a fan since 1970 and have been to many different tours, so happy that they are still performing at such a high level..but let's stay realistic
I'd love that Alan!
No, no, no, I love the stonese enough to see them 7 times, this was their 7th best, in my opinion. I got to see an aging band who still has it.
Still no Brown Sugar
Europe 2025 !!!!!
🤘🤘
I am totally agree with you....
Top 3 tour of all time? Come on let's be serious
Rather have em take out a warhorse song and add a new
Drop the war horses and play more newer songs highlights of the tour for real stones fans was the deeper songs..see ya in 2025..
Sweet sounds has become such a classic 🤘
Appreciate the enthusiasm, but a top 3 tour all time? Yikes Give it the credit its due for the time in which it happened, but lets not disrespect the many great tours of the past.
Best Stones tour ever would be 1972.....Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed,Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St........and Mick Taylor
At their age nobody can do what they did when they were in their 20's. Your hands are not the same. PFG all things considered.
A full show filmed at a smallish venue...say Hackney Empire London? Invite Sir Paul McCartney to guest
I agree except the McCartney part (get Bill Wyman out of retirement instead!).
