- Political analyst Prof. Steven Friedman tells Stephen Grootes that all parties need to be on the same page to form a government of national unity. He says at this moment parties are all divided and national unity seems difficult to achieve.

Unfortunately markets do matter.
Presently 20% of our budget is spent servicing debt. Petrol at R24 could become R50 in a month. I recall Zim printing a trillion dollar note that could buy several loaves of bread after they decided to hell with markets.
Sometimes what's good for economy may not necessarily address the social ills and such as highest numbers of crime, unemployment and deprivation of the masses from participating in the mainstream of the country's economy.
Like how the prof doesn't give two kak's about his background.
Let's have government of national unity with a strong opposition of MK, EFF Action SA as the opposition. And kick out the Communist Party and NUMSA from the tripartite alliance to join up with MK
Parties should be looking at doing what is good for SA/ economy. It is not about their individual power .
