+ggyougotmetoreply I think this was just from an early build. I bet they wanted to consider air dashes for everyone, since I know Capcom used them in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
It's too bad they didn't make air dashing a universal mechanic. Lotta characters would have been more viable if they had one.
Strange how much different this initial build was compared to what we got.

does this have enhanced graphics? whenever doing a hyper charging star its usually all blue, not green with yellow tinges...

@Renzythegreat91 lol they took out a lot of people's air dash...if i remember correctly almost everyone had one back then. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night from joy of knowing Cap & Chris with an airdash.

One of the best new things about this video game that is great is the characters talk a lot more when their fighting and the the speak their specials when their about to execute them
@deathtube76 i think they do on one of the building posters they say "hero or menace and has a 3d version of mvc2 looking spidey. and remember that they had a poster of a 3d chun li and a 3d ryu on 2 other buildings and ryu's fighting in the level. that makes me almost 100% sure that spiderman is in this
Seeing the DMC 3 version of Dante in this crossover has made me a very HAPPY gamer, it seems Capcom made this version the best preferred choice for the game, since he was that more popular when the game came out years ago. Also, DMC 3: Special Edition has remained my most favorite game ever, especially when you got to play as Vergil, I'm a beast with his combos and am crossing my fingers for him to be added so I can have a Marvel style Dante vs Vergil fight online someday. NOTHING WILL SURVIVE.
Now THIS is cool. I'm glad they left some of the old (recognizable) moves from the previous games for the old characters, and they did a good job implementing new moves for the newcoming characters.
As far as voices are concerned, they're pretty good, and most fit their characters to the best of my knowledge (save Dante, and maybe Wolverine). If Dante had the voice actor from Devil May Cry 3, that would be even better. Wolverine still needs a few tune-ups on his voice, but pretty good so far...
@abiola100000 The music is still in the final game. Go to the menu, options, change the music from Classic to Dynamic (or the other way around, I'm not sure)
@IHateSOAD gladly no they still have the double and triple hyper combos that we al remeber from Mvc2 just because it is going to 3d models does not mean that they went a way with the hellish looking triple hypers but actually made them look even cooleer

@rs3lovers It's not confirmed whether Megaman is in the game or not. The demos only show the confirmed characters fighting.

Just looking at the stage I see signs pointing to Morrigan, Hulk, Roll, Chun li, Spider man,Ryu, Iron man, Vuewtiful Joe (Balloon), Green Goblin (Oscorp building) and Fantastic 4 building at 2:14.

It's good to love all games and all game series. ..Cooolface.. Destructable with Ryu, Dante, and Akuma, all on the same team. I love that combination.
but we dont know if the newer hyper combo system will change how the game is played out

i think they will most probably keep all the old characters and just add new ones so i think they'll both be in the game.

guys, ive never been good at fighting games (except super smash bros brawl), but i really want to get this game. should i get it, and if i do, which characters would be the easiest to use (assuming they still have their mvc2 commands)
Wolverine looks a lot more threatening now. My suggestions for some characters are Zero from megaman andGene from xmen and one of her specials can be that she turns into Phoenix when you reach 3 levels.

The differences I spotted,
The Damage Counter got taken away.
Dante's hammer animation was different.
Chris had a airdash.
Ryu had a airdash.
Dante's Devil Trigger animation was different.
Dante's Million Dollars shot more bullets.
Deadpool's shouts during Happy-Happy Trigger and Ninja Gift changed.
@huzkar123 yes, Dante use those. Didn't see that coming. Hope he can use royal release though.
One interesting thing I noticed in this game is that the characters utter each others' names when you switch players.
@Gowatch3kb Deadpool is a character with a similar story to Wolverine, in terms of his regeneration ability. He's famous for his regeneration, sarcasm, and breaking of the 4th wall, as evident with the end of this fight.

now ive always been a fan of soul calibur and dragonball z and mortal kombat style fighters but i have to admit this one looks like it could be a challenge and it looks excellent! good to see dante in somthing other than dmc, just wish they hadnt used his dmc3 look...
@ceriah311 i know whatcha mean, the original 2d graphics were amazing, but i think this new 3d looks pretty amazing as well. but i'm looking forward to the new stuff, like tag in air raids, mega crashes and other stuff that was added in to tatsunoko vs capcom. i also enjoy the little things, like when you tag out and your character says their name, or when you have the avengers in your team and iron man says avengers assemble. but i think if you were a fan of the original, you'll like this one.
I have to admit that despite how dissapointed I am that certain characters were left out of the game, I have no doubts that MVC3 will be a fun game to play upon it's release this comming spring. I eagerly anticipate it's release.
