DRC has been under an arms embargo… could not buy ammunition for many years. Until only recently when the embargo was lifted. They are now rapidly militarizing with a huge budget. Spending more $ than any East African country on the military. It could easily become the strongest military force in East Africa. It has to protect its wealth.

Sorry but this list is a joke. It's laughable to have Ethiopia as #1 while #Eritrea is #6 considering during Tigray war, it was Eritrean military that saved Ethiopian military 3 times over. Ethiopia has more money to spend on it's military, but it's military is a joke. Moreover, Eritrea's army is the only proven, battle hardened, tested army out of all those mentioned.

When EDF withdrew fr tigray in May 2021...endf was completely destroyed & tdf marched all the way to addis...until EDF stepped back in at the last minute in Nov 2021. Tdf promptly fled back to tigray. These are the facts. That's why EDF is far stronger then endf...which quite frankly was a joke. EDF generals stated as much.
