My beard hit 6 months
Now I use it to charge my cell phone
Now THAT's power.
- Jack
Haha!
I'm almost exactly at 6 months of growth. It's the first beard of my life, and it's been an amazing journey to be honest. The boost in confidence in undeniable, I have no idea where that comes from, but I've heard a lot of men talk about that boost, so it must be fairly common.
You want confidence? hit the gym!
Hell yeah, power beard! That length is really nice. I like how you explained everything about maintenance trims and taming the beard at this length. Its just long enough to be a big, burly, beard with its own shape, but short enough to not take over your face. Good luck with your goals, Eric. And keep on growing!
Eric, you need 6 months for this one, this is impressive growth speed.
Great video, you are absolutely right - with this length you must tame that beast more than ever. I'm very close and looking forward.
Hell ya bro! 6 months gone, 6 months strong! On my 10th month myself, 2 months till the Glory!
As always a good looking beard. I submitted a photo about a year ago when Jack was going through his "years growth." I am currently in the 18 month of my growth. My beard is now between 14 and 15 inches long. I get complements all the time whenever I am out and about.
At the 6 month mark on my 1st beard I did feel like it was finally fully in and like I imagined a beard would feel. Next month I hit a year and you have been there through this entire process. Bear Brand vids where a huge help - thanks so much 🧔
After 6 month curly and ruff beard solution solve????
I'm a blow dryer short of the power beard. Just passed 6 months of my yeard journey. I think I should be giving the blow dryer another try... I'm walking with you Eric. Thanks for the updates!
im growing a beard too, ive been shaving my beard, but keeping the mustache, so that it grows more than the beard, now im letting the beard grow, now that the stache is quite long
I wondered if you were going to hold at the PBB-- Power Beard Bandholz ---I'm glad that I watched to the end to hear of your plan.
I'm liking that look that you have going Brother Eric! It's just nice seeing you growing out again. Take care, Thumb's up!~John
It's my favorite stage of beardedness! I'm thinking about cutting my beard back quite short, then growing it out again to that stage.
That's the look I'm going for. And love the name :) I'm five months in and just short of that length. It might take me seven but that's the look. great video, thanks for naming that and settling my search
Half speed drunk mode works even better for Mr. Bandholz. Awesome upload BB, 4 months in here!
I'm at my 1st 6 month beard and it's rocking hard. So happy I didn't give up. I'm a 5.5ft guy with a bad jaw line and shave my head because I have been balding since I was 26 years old- I am now 54 years of age. I also have premature grey and white hair mixed with some black- so weird but it fits and my new nick name for obvious reasons is Santa and I get joked a lot now since Xmas has passed but I do get great responses to my full fluffy curly natural beard so that is cool. Don't give up on your beard and enjoy the ride.
Timely! Thanks Eric. I feel like I’m in a good place at six month but would like it to look more put together. Like you I have waviness and not sure I am doing it correctly.
This dude is like the big brother I never had , even tho I got 4 older brothers they don’t ever do or say %#$& that helps u grow, he gives great advice that’s more than about selling product, and he’s entertaining, since I found this ch I decided to grow my beard , been making mistakes with trimming even with a brio but it grows back & I feel different & more confident, so it’s working, me and my beard are growing
Just completed 4 full months of growth. Still trying to power on to the halfway mark.
For the first time, I have my utility balm and I have to say it's awesome, I love it, thanks for those great products.
That's awesome to hear, man!
- Jack
Thanks for providing the name, "Power Beard"! Six months would be about three inches, wouldn't it? You're right about taming it taking work, yet in my experience, once I learned how it responded, keeping it tamed didn't seem hard at all. Thanks for all the great, helpful stuff you do!
My yeard journey started on Jan 1st 2020 so I'm now at the power beard phase and this video popped up in my recommended list as one of the few Beardbrand videos I hadn't seen. The power beard! I like it but it definitely needs to be tamed, otherwise, it has a natural hourglass look to it by dipping in just below the jawline. I need to get me a round brush I think.
I strive to have a beard as sweet as Erics. I've always kept my beard short. Only grown out once without any grooming (it looked terrible) I'm giving it a shot again but taking much better care of it and grooming it. I'm at 3 months right now.
using a power beard for a while! love it!
looks awesome the best style you've had honestly.
6 month beard is my favorite beard lenght. I've been growing my beard now at terminal length and it does not grow longer than 8 cm below the chin/ 11 cm below the lip. In my opinion it is pretty short for a terminal beard, kind of wish it would grow longer than that. But they still say it belongs in the category long beards 🤷
Brush and beard balm always works for me, and i have 12in beard.Good advice.
I'm on month 5! I've had one "shape trim" but that's all! I have a good handlebar going as well. Loving the look!
Right on, man!
- Jack
I'm 4 months into my yeard, looking forward to hitting the 6 month mark
I’ve had facial hair for a couple years now but just started letting it grow more in January. Currently a month and a half without a trim! I’m only 22 so I’m a little skeptical on growing a yeard so I’ll try the 6 month first! Love the videos!
Update: shaved in May after about 5 months of growth and regret it. I’m now 4 and a half months in and looking ya grow a yeard! I wish my mustache was fuller and the area under my bottom lip filled in more but I guess that comes with time/age. See ya at 6 months!
The power beard is where it's at!
I hit six months on May 1st too! I went from clean shaven and i grow a little slower though so i don’t quite have that length. If you make the full year I’ll be excited to see how our growths compare at the end. Love your videos and your brand, man. They’ve done wonders for my look and my confidence, so thank you and grow on!
My cheeks are still a bit too sparse for a power beard. Just had about the six month length and it wasn't working. It looked a little too ratty. Just trimmed it down quite a bit and now it looks great. I'll definitely have to try for the power beard here in a couple years though since I'm sure my beard will have filled in more by that time.
Eric - I like the idea of the 6 month Power Beard
There are so many options and my goal is to be more flexible with my beard style as you folks at Beardbrand, but I'm almost 1.5 years into beard growth, and I'm having a hard time coming to terms with getting a trim
Got Thomas same boat.
Good Review 👍🏻👍🏻
The best i got was 4 months. It was the first time i was growing it out. the worst problems were the extreme change in my look and beard dryness coupled with itchiness and hygene concerns. I have tried many times to go beyond 4 months but barely got to 2 months and a half. I am trying it again now.
Just hit 6 months on the yeard myself 😊. Great video Eric
Perfect timing!
- Jack
Hey Kaz! Always cool to see you here!
It's Dr. Stache!
@@Beardbrand Indeed, also I totally agree with Eric in the power beard point -- months 5-6 have been the beardiest months of my yeard so far in terms of the large, bulky appearance (especially if I focus on the round brush method).
Cheers
@@danplatz6027 Hey big guy. Thrilled to see you here as well. Seen my update yet?
Awesome beard, bro!!!!
I have a 6 month beard and I'm happy with it. However it is hollow.. barely any hair grows on my neck/under my jaw so beard is quite see through to me. Others say they don't notice it though
5 months 5 days checking in going for the yeard. Like this so i stay committed 🧔
For me when I grew my beard to 4-4.5 inches people began to look at me like it was a thing on my face. Not that it mattered to me. I still want to achieve the yeard. I did 6.5 months and ended up trimming.
Monster Beard! Love your tips Bro.
@beardbrand hey Eric. I have tried customer service on your website but cant speak with anyone or get a call back. I bought some balm that still hasn't arrived a month later and I'm trying to get it figured out.
I'm going for the French bi-beard with handle bar mustache now.
Last time I grew a Hungarian mustache, I was being given compliments by strangers daily; so I'm looking forward to the attention again.
French Fork?
@@theveganwujeeta , yes. A big one.
Completed 4 months ... have a decent beard .. On my way to the power beard ..
Never went more than two months (summer) without shaving. I've now gone five, as I'm a teacher who was sent home in March. I want the power beard, but I don't feel like putting in the work. I have balm and a beard comb, I'm just too lazy to put the same amount of work into a beard as a 50's girl puts into her beehive hairdo. I can't do oils, hairdryers, trimming, etc. Can I be lazy and have a beard or should I just shave now? If it's work, I'm out. Expert advice needed.
I Had a fullbeard, first trim was after a year, it coverd about my whole neck, i was pretty happy with it but i accidently fucked it up and decided to trim it off and just leave the stache and the mounth part, a bit like a goaty'. quite easy to keep clean and neat compared to a powerbeard.
Beard's looking amazing Eric 🔥
Excellent
2 years strong!
Hey Eric i need an advice. I'm 28 and i'm trying to grow a beard since 1 year but i trimmed it and f*cked it a few times. Now i might have something like a 3 month beard but i have very straight hair and i don't succeed to have a shape like you do even if it's the thing that i want. My gotea isnt growing as fast as my chin or my neck hair do you have an advice for me ? Love your videos. You should open a barber shop in France really !
Epic beard.
6month is about the length i have and i keep it there . and to be honest i never use of that many tools ( roundbrushes straightener etc ) and i never blowdry my beard . maybe i have the luck but i dont need many time to maintain . my routine is a bit warm water than a few drops oil and tiny ammount of butter thats it and i just comb it with a wide teeth comb
What kind of jacket is that? I seriously need to know.
If I could. Olnygrow a beard like you Eric I would be happy if I could grow a stash that thick
My power beard hits tmr wish I could show u my transformations
I've lost count of how many months it's been to know how long it is
Nice!
Hello I I just lost my mom she past away on November 10th and I have been growing my beard in respect to my mom I'm going to grow it until November of next year I'm not going to touch my beard just let it grow
It's an exercise in discipline and patience. I'm six weeks in 😂
Eric, power beard challenge 😜
Almost at 6 months anyone use an hot iron brush to tame the hairs? Pros and or cons?
Im 2 months in. Its getting there.
Slowly but surely!
- Jack
Hells bud. I’m doing the yeard but it looks like pubes. Getting a first trim today. They say they know beards but it’s a small city. Started May 1st. I’m 37, looks ok for the most part, but needs a minimum trim
At 1 year 8 months with 3 trim backs of a inch or so but power beard is strong 👌
Hello i am growing my beard, i have some patchy areas will minoxidil helps to grow the beard?
Let it grow longer, the more patchy areas will fill in as the beard gets longer
Nice
I’m on month 2. And sleeping is already becoming weird 😂
6 month beard is the best
your is a great beard.
Full and voluptuous round beard.
Greatest voice in the beard biz. Maybe the best voice on the tube.
Great
Growing a beard and a moustache is helping me lose body weight.
I can't eat as comfortably as before, due to which, I am very concious while eating 😄
Here after u shaved
I have just hit the 6 month beard in the last few weeks. Have to agree it’s the most pleasant phase of my journey to date. It really catches attention (if that’s what you’re after). At 5 months I kinda had a bit of a wobble (I wonder if others experienced this?) where I began to think the beard was ‘taking over my face’ and I was really uncomfortable with my look. I began to feel like I was wearing a big hairy rug on my face and became self conscious. But then I passed that phase and now I am fine. I always thought that the hard stages were supposed to be the early stages, and no one ever mentioned that you could ‘have a wobble’ at 5 months. But I did. Anywho, to those that do have a wobble - power through! If in doubt, grow it, don’t mow it. Unless we are talking about your plums - then go ahead and trim those quarter pounders.
Damn. I just had this and trimmed my sides shorter as the sides puffed out
Honestly think 4"-6" beards look the best. Like you know its a beard but its not overbearing or starting to thin out.
True!
Like your beard? Could have just said, like my beard. I believe I have a power beard all the time. We all do right brothers?
You've got that "Ragnar returns home" beard 💪🏼
my 8 month hit your 6 month length and just stopped. wtf? so not only are my genetics two months behind yours, my potential yeard just went terminal. wimp genes. now I'm depressed
That's a 6 month beard? I just got there at a one year mark )))
One day I'll have a beard like that. I'm still battling my stress related hair pulling tik. It creates patches and I'm only 23 so my beard game is not that strong yet...
Ya, I tend to have those tendencies as well. I try to move my hands around my face to prevent patches. Also, getting something like a beard comb or a stress ball could help out. I talked about it a little more in point #5 of this video: ua-cam.com/video/49EPN9-rnj8/v-deo.html
@@EricBandholz Thank you for the reply! I'm going to look into it. Feels good to know that I'm not the only one. It's such a weird habit.
If memory serves pulling your beard hair/eyebrows etc. Can be a sign of thyroid dysfunction. Just fyi. Might make sure your getting iodine in your diet etc.
St. Nick, over here...
If its power beard then I shall grow more right away
Go for it, man!
- Jack
Power to the BEARD 👊🏻👊🏽👊🏿
as with other things it's more about girth
That's one voluptuous beard. Damn, that face bush be t h i c c, boiiiiii.
Ha. The Bandswole at it again! Hope all is well with you Gene. Always love reading your comments. #funniestbeardbrandcommenter
Update 12-17-23❤
That wall though...
400th Like! :-)
Much more into the natural beard look. Straightened beard looks very weird, hence why it's not called natural.
Good loking beard. But when it comes to ideas for videos, you should work on that. Product wont sell by itself, right? :)
Fill in the blank: A power beard on a thin man, makes him appear _________.
😎
Have you considered braiding your beard?
Please trim the sides, it's a little too wide for your face and let your hair grow out ( Greg style).
this beard is more longer that my hair, lol kkk
Nice..bat.pleas speak slowly secondly ...I am araben
Mmm it kills me how guys make these videos inspire you then a year down the road they shave off their beards or trim it really short 🙈 it’s like what happened dam lol
Their wives.. 🤣
The kratos beard.
Kinda sound like Kermit
quit talking bout your beard in third person, you are a trip fr
