    You should always use wheel bonnets or ratchets that go over the tires whenever possible

    When the safety chain attach point on the trailer is one single point, crossing the safety chains makes little diffeence. The chain make a "V". If you can move the attach points about 1ft back from the hitch, then crossing them will make a difference (takes a longer chain). The chains make an "X".

    I personally would of backed the rzr on looks to me that the weight of your engine is behind the axle, which could cause your trailer to fishtail and possibly flip. Lots of info out there on weight distribution.

    When that vehicle on the trailer bounces your straps are going to come loose I always go through the rim at around 10:00 and 2:00 you're on a bumpy road that will bounce loose

    I would also add to be sure to achieve proper (10-15%) tongue weight when positioning the unit onto the trailer.

    You are super pedagogical! 😁
    Get my Polaris sportsman 570 hunter in....... 3 days! 😂
    Now its just a matter of how to break it in, not to break it. 😏

    You don't attach to bumpers, it's an attachment using bolts and too high up compressing suspenssion. Also, why can't you use the A-arm? Ideally tie tires down. If you can do that you tie to A-arm as close as possible to the tire.

  • @fetiish636
    @fetiish636 3 роки тому +3

    Don't ever tie down to any moving part.. just get wheel buckets ... don't compress suspension... ever......

  • @CMorHiking
    @CMorHiking 6 місяців тому

    Strapping to any part of the car that is suspended is a Big No-No. This will cause your car to bounce during transit, and eventually break a strap. You need to strap the tires down to the trailer using Bonnets, Ring Straps, etc... Good job Polaris, lol.

    i was told that for a 4 seater sxs you need to run 2 axel trailer? single axel is good only for 2 seater? i have a carson steel trailer 6.5x12.

    • @mingomane1
      @mingomane1 2 роки тому +3

      Not true. Dual axle may pull better but single is fine. Just get a nice single axle.

    • @mingomane1
      @mingomane1 2 роки тому +2

      Also depends on what you are towing with. For instance a dual axle is a lot of trailer for a small-mid suv.

    Just to let you know one thing I do when strapping a trailer down.
    I cross my ratchet straps just like I do for my safety chains.

    • @davidschlarp1606
      @davidschlarp1606 2 роки тому

      So if 1 breaks it pulls the vehicle sideways. Smart

    • @lymannewton7261

      @@davidschlarp1606 why are you using junk tie downs. I always inspect my work in 10 miles and half way to my destination. That's SMART

    Ok first of all you dont have to put a full suit on just to put it on the trailer and use 4wd and low gear its not that hard for the machine to go up a ramp

    When strapping you only get the capacity of 2 straps at any time because when you are pulling against a strap the straps on the other side do nothing so 20000 lbs straps only give 10000 lbs in any direction
