"The insecticons have done well." "Yes, maybe they should lead us." Hilarious as ever Starscream.
You mean Scour Scump. Right?
Yeah I liked that one too. He just doesn't STOP with that s***. What a dick
Be careful what you wish for Starscream, you just might get it given what they did to you and most of the other Decepticons in this episode......
“ You Test My Patience Starscream” Megatron 😂😂
I love how Optimus just picks megatron up and be like: "Megatron you have to transform"
And then Optimus just folds Megatron in half to get him to transform.
And it appears that Optimus Prime fully memorized Megatron’s transformation sequence and was able to get him into gun form without any issues, just like when you’re converting your Transformers figures back and forth.
@@TheRisingStorm316 exactly, but some figures can be really annoying to transform, I can't imagine Optimus struggling with Megatron's hand placement or something else.

@@TheRisingStorm316 He doesn't need to remember the transformation sequence. Transformers have an organ called the Transformation cog. They only need to spin it to transform. In IDW comic, Optimus did that to the corpse of his dead subordinate when he was cornered by the criminals so he can use his alt mode to escape.
15:08 Can we take a second to appreciate Ironhide? He doesn't even think, protecting his human friends is just second nature
He's my 3rd fav Autobot after Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Plus, I love Ironhide's cool voice.
There are three sci-fi sounds that can instantly put a smile on my face
1. The tardis taking off/landing
2. Lightsaber activating
3. Transforming
And you kind of got two of those in this episode with the sound effect on Optimus' cannon
You got two of those in the nightbird episode.
Every episode with Jazz in it is a delight
He's the "SCAT-MAAAAN!"
He's more like the “Do the Flop Guy” of the series.
I loved one episode when Blaster was broadcasting a rock concert back to Autobot Base. Everyone is freaking out and covering their audio receptors except Jazz. He's dancing and loving it.

The Insecticons episodes were always fun and with interesting plots.
That’s why I disappointed when they got rid of the Insecticons and turned them into the Sweeps. It should’ve been Reflector since he/they were no longer used in the cartoon.
I don't like them
Remember Shrapnel, Kickback, Bombshell the 3 insecticons got reintroduced into the sweeps?
@@39Hundred Actually, they made appearances in Season 3 but got lost in the shuffle due to the newer characters. The Insecticons probably put clones in their place and hid because they knew that Starscream would take the chance to get rid of them as they were as cunning and untrustworthy as him plus he was obviously still peeved that they took control of his body.
And it always seems that those platinum pests are more dangerous than they reasonably should be.

@@ethanspaziani1070 which is considered ironic.
It's because the adversarial dynamics aren't personal but based on the legacy of the Quintessons, the previous Primes, the former Cybertronian Senate, the Functionists, and the endless energon crisis. Optimus doesn't accept Megatron's methods but he doesn't really want him dead either.

You have no room to talk, 'Screamer!
Shrapnel: _"You're one to talk-talk!"_
You know there's a dangerous threat when Megatron is willing to put his own issues aside to join forces with Optimus Prime and Autobots to stop it. Another rare moment of seeing an Autobot and Decepticon leader working together to defeat a common enemy
Optimus and Megatron had enough mutual respect for each other that they'd do it without any debate. Despite the hatred, the desire for domination, the greed, and everything else, above all, Megatron truly respected Optimus as his rival and enemy - he also knew Optimus would never stab him in the back. He could TRUST Optimus in a way he couldn't trust any of his own Decepticons. Optimus was truly his Best Frenimy.
Imagine what kind of amazing things they could have accomplished as a team, instead of adversaries?
If this had been Rodimus and Galvatron? Forget it. Galvatron was too insane to bother with respect, especially the post-Motion Picture Frank Welker Insane Galvatron. Galvatron would sooner let everything, everywhere die than team up with the Autobots willingly, of his own volition.

Evil organizations based on fear and bullying have this problem all the time. The Top Dog has to watch their back every second of the day, lest their nearest rivals decide to off them. It's also why human dictators have Praetorian Guard-type forces specifically to bodyguard them from their own people, whom are often made up of the Regime's most loyal stooges, and instigate purges to eliminate these rivals and threats, on the regular. The leader of North Korea did this for several months after he came to power, and even executed a few relatives, just in case.
Evil organizations based on mutual respect and common goal greed, on the other hand, are harder to fight. Soldiers loyal because they're all True Believers In The Cause are much more reliable. Evil leaders that show more respect to their underlings than the average McDonald's manager, give them decent pay and benefits, and treat them as more than expendable pawns in their personal desire for power, tend to have tougher troops, no matter their level of training or competence, and their organizations are that much harder to penetrate with espionage.
Basically, pay above minimum wage, give them health and dental, and everyone gets Stock Options and flex days, and you'll have an army willing to march off cliffs. Give them eye care and prescription coverage, they're liable to march straight into hell for you.
Its funny seeing Spike as the only human shooting at the Decepticons... in a military base

They really can just eat inorganic materials.
Maybe their stomachs are able to “digest” materials and turn them into energon like how our own bodies make ATP?

I like how this episode shows the heroism of the Autobots. Jazz and Inferno break off from the fight when they see the choppers go down. Prioritizing protecting humans. And when the cliff collapses, Ironhide throws himself over Spike.

I noticed that whenever they used stock footage the framerate halved. It was pretty easy to notice.
This would be great for a movie plot. You could have the insecticons go even larger and start eating cities including the Decepticon base and the Ark!
