Unke baare mein internet par jhoothi aur man ghadant batein likhi gayi hain ki woh 1975 mei cancer se guzar gayi. Yeh jaankar bahut khushi hui ki woh apni zindagi mei sehat mand aur bahut khush hain. Ek baar phir humei sacchai dikhane ke liye aap ka teh dil se shukriya.

Some years ago, I heard, that she was died but now I am pleased to know that she is alive. May God continue shower his billions of blessings upon Nazima........ Aameen

Tabassumji, thanks for this video of Najima. In my childhood when I watched her play sisters' roles in films I was so enamoured by her. In real life I have no sister. I always wished I had a lovely sister like her. Now I am 70 years old. But even now I remember her. Wish I could meet her and you in person. God bless you and Najima. Thanks again.

I was searching for Nazima on the net for a long time. So good to know that she's had a healthy happy life, unlike most of her contemporaries who were more successful but had tragic lives. Truth is that many people didn't even know there were two actress..one was with then name Nazz and other one is Nazima which Tabbasumji is talking about.Sadly Nazz who played Rajesh khanna's sister in film 'Sachha Jhootha' has died due to cancer and people was thinking that was Nazima who died.

So lovely,i remember watching her in " Adhikar " in door darshan in 1988 when we were in Basar town in Arunachal Pradesh ,she played lead role in "Adhikar".
Wikipedia states she passed away in 1975. I was really shocked but this video states she is alive and well. A beautiful actress ,its really disappointing to learn she got type casted into side roles. Wishing her well.

Yes what she was so simple and not an heroine material. He carried and established herself as a sister with three quarter sleeve blouse whereas heroine wore sleeveless and look like bombshell. People buy looks, body and dressing which other actresses of the time like Saira banu ,Asha parekh, Mumtaz and zeenat amaan looked so hot and public accepted them. Only exception was Jaya Bachan. Even Sharmila Tagore, Raakhee and Helen had excellent body and displayed very well. People like attractive, sexy actress and not Grandmaa and aunties

Tabassum ji, you missed mentioning the name of one of Nazima ji's very successful movie, "Raja aur Runk", that came perhaps in the mid-sixties in which she was the heroine against Sanjeev Kumar. "O Phirki wali, tu kal phir aana..." and "mera naam hai chameli, main hun malan albeli..." were the two very popular songs from this movie.
