I lived in mazar and my household and street still retained a peaceful 60s vintage vibe and three of theses songs I had heard a million times and so it brought back memories. Most people who remembered the good old days are older now. But I actually got a taste of them bc of where I lived and I’m so thankful

@@adqata Maybe Afghanistan should restore its monarchy, and this time your country should probably have constitutional monarchy. I could see there was economic and social progress when Afghanistan was under monarchy back in the 1960's and 1970's, which was destroyed after the Soviets and Taliban took over Afghanistan.
I am listening to a radio programme about the history of my country. This is to my Heart. I was born almost in Pakistan or the far west in Chna, however I wa born in the far eastern village of Feyzabad, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. My family and I had left (before) the exodus in 2021. I don't speak Dari as I have been away for a long time. (Like a musical instrument if no practise, the loss of proficiency, sane with any language -- even a native one) I miss Afghanistan,but the Taliban has been a HUGE obstacle). I am also a santur player as well I have to keep in practise or I will screw up).
You are a lucky person Tanner. This is the kind of music that makes memories come alive I think. We have to recall the good days. It doesn't mean we are dreaming but alive and living it.
Does anyone know where I can find more music from Kamar Gul Zakhail, I’ve looked all over online and I can’t find anything. Was any of this collection ever on vinyl? This music is magical and truly sacred. Thank you so much for posting this.
I stayed in Afghanistan for nearly 2 month in 1978 on my way to India, I just fell in love with that country and its people, so friendly, so authentic ❤ unfortunately that Afghanistan doesn't exist anymore, after the russians, the americans and the taliban completely destroyed it for the sake of exploiting, of power, of growing terrorism 😭 Today is the birthday of Shaheed Ahmad Shah Massoud who wanted to free his country from those criminal opportunists and create a democratic Afghanistan on the model of my country, Switzerland 🇨🇭🇦🇫 unfortunately he got martyred on September 9, 2001 by the terrorists 😢 My heart is still bleeding for his loss, forever in my ❤ dear Amir Sahib 🙏🏼💕🇦🇫🇦🇫🇦🇫

Now Afghanistan pass a difficult time under the islamofasists Taliban who forbid any kind of music, I wish God help the country to come out of this dark period, greetings from Greece
We desire peace in Afghanistan back where there is no culture of gun and bullet. We would like there an elected government through general elections so that the government thus formed be recognized by the international community and it serve the Afghans as well as the Muslim world. There are a few shops (kiosk and truck types) in various parts of the city centre at the edge of parks and markets, but i couldn't locate any proper music store with quality content of local or imported origin.
