Isi Dawndancer is my girl, as I love her colors as I love teals and crimson reds, as I also love that she is the only character that her doll has hooves as I love deers and forest animals

Spectra wasn’t in the list of characters in the live action movie, and seeing as she’s one of the first 11 characters EVER, I think we definitely need her

I love how even compared to the monsters, Clair still stands out as the goth. She’s somehow aesthetically darker than the monsters themselves lol

I always read Clair as a representation of Melody Carter from the Monster high book series. Melody is the other new girl in what appears to be a normie high school at the same time as Frankie who’s having to hide she’s a monster. Melody actually finds out about the underground Monster High and that she’s a monster herself

Operetta has been my favorite since the 1st time I ever seen her, and I have always said that Nefera was prettier that Cleo, but the new G3 Cleo is going to be hard to beat, bc she's gorgeous ❤❤❤❤.
I always found Scarah Screams aka the Banshee with great potencial for the doll making. She is a Ghost/Fairy and she tends to have her fashion around the 60s. So it could birth a lot of interresting designs.
They kinda scrapped her because parents complained about her white eyes being too scary

I never understood why parents had to complain anyway like if you think something is too scary for your child just don’t buy them it and buy something you find more appropriate. their slogan was literally “be yourself, be unique, be a monster” monsters ARE scary but monster high was a fashionable scary
@@miku-miku LMAOOO they could be complaining about Eugenia cooney who literally has a severe eating disorder and is on the brink of death who shows off her body on UA-cam where young people can see it but instead they’re spending that time complaining about a doll that is supposed to be a SKELETON representing MEXICAN culture as skulls are a huge part of the day of the dead festival like...it’s so stupid
We also need isi dawndancer! She's like, the only native american character we've gotten from monster high, plus I'm just a sucker for deer girls

Literally Seth might be my favorite "manster" or Porter from the Haunted movie. His & Spectra's chemistry was everythiiiiiiing 😩
I feel like we definitely *need* robecca, spectra, operetta, ghoulia, and some others, including mansters to get things right. I really really want elissabat, kiyomi, jinafire, catty, skelita, viperine, honey, ahhh there's a lot to love in MH characters!
As for why, honestly aesthetics for most of them, but i really love a lot of their stories and tbh especially the ones involved in the arts really move me!

You know what would be the perfect thing for Venus’ comeback? Monster High x Waste Management Inc. (or any other recycling company) which will give us a Venus doll that would be made 100% out of recycled materials!!! And maybe even a recycling commercial or episode with Venus where she tells about the importance of recycling!

Wydowna Spider would be my choice. She only got 2 dolls (one being a SDCC exclusive, so it's really more like one), only appeared once or twice in the movies, had kind of a bigger role in the Ghoulfriends book series, but even there she got totally shafted and didn't get to do much. For such an awesome looking character she deserved SOOOO much better and absolutely needs to come back.

The whole Freaky Fusion/Haunted new characters were so iconic and well designed, I would really like to see how would they manage to incorporate their motifs
Freaky fusion really felt like one of the last good lines before the reboot. The last doll I think I bought before I had kind of moved on from MH as a kid was Honey and man I’m glad I got her
Marisol is the only canonically Peruvian doll I’ve ever seen; and for that I thank Monster High so so so much due to my Peruvian heritage

I would love to see a Peruvian mummy character that could be friends with Marisol and show a different type and temperament of mummy. Like maybe she’s really shy and comes off as aloof but she is really sweet when she’s comfortable around people. Not that I’ve given this any thought. 😅
I would love to see C.A. Cupid comeback. I missed out on her doll and she has such a lovely design along with my top favorite Sirena Von Boo. But like, i would love in general if they brought back a lot of character but cycled them around for releases

I’d really like to see River Styx comeback or at least another grim reaper character. My favorite characters are usually more gothic but still have a pastel palette and I never got a River doll😢

We NEED to see more of Wydowna Spider. She is an absolutely beautiful doll with an amazing design but we never got to see her much in any of the movies! She had so much potential!

Venus's personality always confused me whenever she was portrayed. In the webseries Venus was a down-to-earth kind and whole-hearted girl who had a soft disposition and is very kind. Meanwhile her journal and in the book series "Ghoulfriends" Venus is described as "being loud and in your face", sort of pushy and often uses her pollen power to forcibly manipulate others into recycling, which is a flaw she has a hard time controlling. Honestly the latter description is something I personally relate to, as someone who struggles with my own temper and I hope if Venus does return she will have a personality more accurate to her doll's journal and the book series. However, I kind of doubt Monster High will go that route considering that the webseries and the movies are more canon... which is a shame.

We need a pharoah doll! I loved his character so much and I think it would of translated so well into a doll, especially their already being less male monster high dolls
Jackson was and still is one of my fav mansters. If we don’t get him/holt back it wouldn’t quite feel right.
It also wouldn’t feel right if they scrapped most of these characters

I think we ABSOLUTELY need Gigi Grant in the new Monster High comeback. She’s just such a cool character and doll and I would love to get more of her story (and Whisp’s too)!
Although I might be biased too because 13 Wishes is one of my fav movies and Gigi was my first Monster High doll along with Clawdeen.
Great list! Although two more characters I’d like to see come back are Elissabat and Viperine. They had such good designs, and Elissabat had a really compelling story but too little screen time in the movie.

The rebbot (the 2 movies we shall not name) literally just got rid of SO MANY characters that played integral roles in the monster high universe and just pretended they didnt exist... Robecca, Ghoulia, Howleen, Cupid, Heath, Holt, Jackson, Jinafire, Skelita, Nefara, Bloodgood and Spectra to name a few that were just completely cut... Not to mention the ones that basically got reduced to background characters and/or characters that only appeared in that weird 3d cartoon series that looked like a roblox animation... Venus, Toralei, Abbey, Deuce, Rochelle, and operetta I hope the new reboot can do these characters justice and give them actual purpose again
To be fair, the reboot animation was a big improvement over the old style. Still no excuse for them to jilt my girl Robecca.

@@8bitbarbie163 the animation for the webisodes looks really weird, it looks like the drawing style that was popular when i was 10 and it almost feels rushed or unfinished, the old animation was way better.
Personally i liked the older 3d animation more than the new but i think it has to do with them looking bit too baby like or that it kinda reminds me to the design of paranorman and i really dont like that style

IKR?!? I was so upset when I first got the movies. I was absolutely flabbergasted. Especially about ghoulia! She was my favorite when I first got into MH *and* she's one of the first characters! NOT TO MENTION TORALEI LOOKED LIKE A LITERAL DORITO IN THE REBOOT 😭
I really do want more background on characters who don't get enough screen time 'cause they're just so interesting. I hope they get Valentine a redemption arc 'cause he isn't all that bad and I'm sure fans would like him more if they did that.
Yeah it was cool he made a comeback in the graphic novel “I only have eye for you” that was the only real “redemption arc” we got

We were robbed of getting a poly relationship with them and Frankie they were her og love interests (excluding deuce in the dawn of the dance/ new ghoul in school special)

They're great potential fpr biracial representation, and also essentially embody being a system with DID. Neither of them are really treated very well in the original series, so this could be a great opportunity to demonstrate some of the nuances that come along with that. (:

Viperine is Deuce's cousin. Their moms are sisters. But her mom is a gorgon but she doesn't have the power to turn people to stone, only Medusa had that power/curse. So that os why Deuce inherited it and wears full sunglasses and Viperine only wears tinted ones.

Aside from the characters you already mentioned, I also want them to bring Spectra, Rochelle, Operetta and Viperine back (I'm assuming Twyla and Abbey WILL be in the reboot, they can't just get rid of those two).
Abbey is confirmed to be in the new movie don't know about Twyla though
I love Monster High. Each character has a story that is intriguing. The main theme is individual identity and diversity. I would love to see more of Monster High. I would like to see more of a witch background and more humans introduced or cross over. It would make it interesting to see the growth from both sides.
We need more elisabat also. Maybe we could slightly change some of the law for valentine like maybe wisp set valentine and I think it was castas brother up that would be so adorable and good for her redemption arc
I think Luna Motthews would be a fine addition. Similar to Elle we only have two dolls of her, but she deserves way more. She has articulated wings and unique body sculpture. I would love to see a movie with Operetta, Honey AND Luna. Also the red carpet line you mentioned would be fuller with Luna in it.

it hasn’t really hit until today realizing it’s finally 2022 that we’re actually seeing these dolls again, kinda feel silly crying about it but i think this is genuinely the best thing to happen since the first time they released lmao
I remember loving Jackson and Holt a lot. And when I read the Jekyll and Hyde book (and I admit I partly read it bc of MH haha) I loved the fact that they existed even more. I hope we get to see more of them :'3

as a peruvian i think marisol desing is so beutiful they trully captured the eyes and sight of people from cuzco, what i dont like about her is that big foot isnt much of a think to peruvian mitology which is v rich w monsters and legends that could had been used

Possibly a missed opportunity is making Skelita Calaveras related to La Catarina since it’s pretty clear that she is inspired by El Dia de los Muertos a Mexican holiday and since La Catrina is also a figure from that holiday it would of been a really nice idea!

I would love to see Twyla back , as a teenager I was always so shy and scared just like her and seeing that on a screen is amazing and I learned so much about myself. Also her powers? Also she and Isi could be best friends because in the diary of Isi she said that twyla helped her with her visions.

i would LOVE to see that crossover between eah and mh. they have all of the puzzle pieces since they were already planning it. jiles grim's connection to the genies, the boo york hint to the wishing star, its all PERFFECT
As a Arab I can admit that Gigi has always stood out to me because of her style that matches most if not all modern Arab outfits/makeup etc
In the doll world I always noticed this huge gap of Arab dolls minus fulla
I'm slightly disappointed that Mattel only made one Arab doll and i feel like with Gigi's scaritage they can make her rock some more outfits straight from doombai and many other countries of the middle east and maybe give us more of her backstory I would love to see all of the character in the video make a comeback I feel like Twyla and Wydowna should come back as well
Both very unique with wonderful features (Twyla's glow in the dark eyes and Wydowna's extra limbs)
Not to mention how they are very unique story wise too

You're not the only one, I just love this character and I'd love to see more of her... I'd probably be a sucker even just for a short light episode with her winning a monster-horses competition, just 'cause I fell in love with the background of the bond with her nightmare when I read the Wiki searching for more info (I'm still getting back on many episodes and movie that I missed).

I’ve never been so in love with a collectible before, let alone a toy, and especially not dolls! I’ve got over 400 MH in storage waiting to be brought back out and either played with, stared at, or sold to the highest bidder (I couldn’t sell them all though!) I’ve been holding my breath (yes, blue face for years!) thanks to you Clawdeena, and I’m sure your a big part of them coming back! Can’t wait! I want not only the 25 you listed, I WANT THEM ALL… ;)

It would be so cool to bring a human (or more) in the Monster High to show the true diversity that not only Monsters of Fusions, Folk stories, and stuff can be in Monster High but Humans as well, maybe Humans that seems too weird for others and find their home in Monster High

I would LOVE Finnegan Wake to return. I fell in love with his design and his representation of disabled people and that not being able to stop him from doing dangerous things he enjoys. How people shouldn’t treat him like he’s helpless just because he’s in a wheelchair.

I know we never got a doll of him, and it’s been like what 8 years since the Boo York movie? But a doll of Seth Ptolemy (aka Pharaoh) would be AMAZING. Even a collectors edition two pack with him and Catty would sell so well, IMO. Great video!
I would love to see more of Viperine and Rochelle Goyle as they were some of my favorite ghouls.
Venus was my all time favorite growing up and Holt was always my favorite manster, I can’t imagine the reboot without these quintessential background characters. I would really like if either of them got to play a bigger part in movies or the upcoming show

I kinda disliked great scarrier reef because of the many VA changes. Lagoona sounded all squeaky and whiney so that actor was definitely not Australian and did a bad job imitating an Australian accent.
Also idk why they made lagoona have stage fright she was shown in fearleading and stuff in the webisodes
they just wanted an excuse to make an under water movie and sell mermaid dolls

Spectra said she used to go to haunted high so she would’ve known about the chains already but idk why she didn’t know in the movie and when river said “almost nothing” it sounded like the chains were new but the principal’s home was the school so technically it would’ve happened ever since haunted high became haunted high
As a Japanese American i always was upset when i never saw a person of my culture in cartoons so when i found out about Kiyomi i was so happy!
I’d love to see Johnny Spirit made into a doll, as well as a rerelease of Finnigan Wake! I’d also love for the dolls in the Skullector line to become fully fledged characters in MH webisodes and movies!
If Johnny Spirit returns in G3, my guess is that he will be portrayed as a former school bully and delinquent who now plays music to cope with his stress.
@@nicholaslienandjaja1815 I do like that angle, as that’s sort of what he became in the “Haunted” movie. I think it would be cool if the reboot really made him the same Johnny from “the Devil Went Down to Georgia”,or the biker from the 50s novelty splatter platter, “Black Denim Trousers”

Catty Noir definitely needs a comeback! Her character introduced me to the freaky fab of MH and her character background is just 👨🍳😙🤏👌

One bg character I'm not sure got much attention (at all lol) was Wydowna Spider. Her design is so cool and so is her doll! I'd love to see her expanded upon!

I think it would be amazing if they brought Valentine back, and having him in a two pack with Speldon would be amazing! not only that, but if they released a "little brother" body type for him, that could have so much potential!
You named all of my favorites with the exception of the werecat twins, Meowlody and Purrsephone. I think the twins could use more development and I just loved them.

I can’t wait for the collectors edition of these dolls. I agree with your list, also there’s so many other folklore creatures that this line can explore. From the Caribbean to the continent of Africa and many parts of Asia. I’m definitely looking forward to the comeback.

Edit: I completely forgot about Jackson and Holt! Jackson is still one of my favorite characters in the whole series. He NEEDS more love!
Catty as number I definitely agree. She plays a MAJOR role in my confidence of the pigment of my skin. Seeing her in the stores growing up and on screen growing up literally filled me with so much self love and JOY
