Totally agree... in fact I'll go out on a limb and admit I didn't really care for the sound of the lead vocalist. Nothing personal but I don't feel his tonality was the best fit and detracted more than it added. Too whiny for my taste... maybe it's just me.

As I was hearing this, as an instrumental, I thought the same exact thing. You lose some of the detail when the vocals are in there. Great tune. Sad when Vito hung it up.
Anyone who can play this good and nail Vito's skills should have millions of subscribers.

The last time this song was played by 'White Lion was at The Channel in Boston. I was 20 feet away from Vito, when the concert ended we connected eyes when he was on the tour bus, he seemed sad. Thanks for playing this perfectly and showing the world how perfect Vito's guitar playing is.

Kent Horvath just because Eddie started them doesn’t mean they aren’t bizarre lmao. It’s hard to get down the inconsistency of releases and bend in this solo as well as any EVH song. That’s why it’s hard to get the same tone

Vitto had the most melodic and tasteful solos I've ever heard. Just jaw dropping beautiful, and technically tight as hell. What a genius.
Such an understanding of peicing together melodies and notes that fluidly merge together seamlessly...what an artist. Surprisingly, alot of geniuses sometime shy away from the spotlight...he deserves this recognition.
The solo of "wait" is pure genius... The lady of the valley is phenomenal. Little fighter is awesome too. But I've never heard a more beautiful song than "When the children cry."
His solos just sing incredibly by themselves but fit in so effortlessly snug into each song. A rare Artist indeed. The real kind...

I'd never noticed it before, but the descending intro is nearly identical to the intro to Diary of a Madman. I love Vito's backing tracks.. how they support the lyric melody.
