If I had a chance to start my family life again, I would go down on the large family route vs. career. I'm a single mom of 1 and he just left the house recently, went to campus and and I don't think he will ever return to this house. I envy you for the love you have around you ❤️. Omg God bless you! I am a wife and mom of 3 (our 3rd due any day now) and my desire has always been to have a big family. Lately, I just wasn’t receiving the encouragement that I needed as people in my own family were saying “really another baby” I was hurt by this because my husband and I are just so smitten by our family it’s a love that no words do justice. Then I find your page for the first time and it just reminded me that my dreams are real and I should not abandon them thank you. I am 31, so you are truly ministering to me and great recipes. God bless you and your family and you appear so gentle and loving. What a gift a nurturing wife and mother is!

Your children are so respectful. I've seen other big family videos and the children are much too free to act as they please. Daniel is so sweet with your needs. All of them are wonderful with great personalities.
Jamerrill? Next time you "bag" the meatloaf for freezing.. you can just toss however much meatloaf you want for a meal portion size right into the freezer bag. Push it to the bottom and even it out so it makes a rectangle at the bottom of the bag. Much simpler than forming loaves and trying to wiggle them into a bag! I do this to freeze ground meat that I mix with seasonings for hamburgers and it works out wonderfully! I just slide out the thawed meat mixture and either form it into patties or cut into flat squares. Tastes just as delicious!
Also... you can CUT the freezer bag off the meatloaf if it's hard to get otu of the bag.
This really works! Let me know if you try it! :)
Great idea! I freeze my ground beef pressed out flat in the freezer bags so they store easily.
Presliced mushrooms don't keep as long as whole mushrooms. Mushrooms add moisture to meatloaf/balls.
This is what I do! Forms a pretty perfect meatloaf like this

I guess having 10 people who want food is a good motivator! When we were a family of 10, I enjoyed feeding my family. Now, just 2 picky little girls, and a not home for dinner often teenager, it is hard to want to make more than cereal, toast, or popcorn!

I love the positivity. Having a rough time transitioning to 2 kids (3.5yo and 6mo) while teachung full time at home! My husband works 12 hour days and I've been in a negativity rut. Your attitude is so helpful. I need it. 😭 Postpartum depression is hard

I feel very "seen" with the preggo heavy breathing. At 36 weeks EVERYTHING is an exercise AND there's a whole lovely little human being taking up quite a bit of room where your lungs used to go ! Great video Mrs. J, you are such a hard worker !!
I think at the end my lungs were literally crunched causing it. Especially after I ate, I would have to sprawl out like a starfish on my bed with my head elevated.
Those last stages can be so difficult! But you will have your sweet babe soon 💕

My sweet neighbor is getting ready for her second round of chemo. Her cancer came back. I am watching this planning my 3-4 months of dinners for them. Wondering why your friends aren’t making y’all dinners. Bless your heart. Y’all are in my prayers.
They might wait until she gives birth. That's probably when she needs the help the most.
She might be wanting a bunch of meals to have in addition to any that friends offer. Feeding a large family is a lot of food. Plus with covid some might be helping in other ways. We dont know her situation. We dont know her family and friends situations especially financially.

Currently on day 3 in the hospital for postpartum preeclampsia (sucks so much) and am waiting for them to discharge me when I see this pop up! You’re keeping me company for the next hour while I wait to get back to my baby. Thank you for the distraction and yummy recipes💜

Hi from another postpartum Pre E mom. I ended up with an 8 day hospital stay & then a couple of months on medical. I'm hoping things are better for you now. Congratulations on your new baby.
I grew up in Georgia, having the bones crunched up and left in. But the skin was always taken out. I loved salmon cakes (we called them croquettes) on a biscuit with a little mustard. Brings back wonderful memories of mamaw, huge garden and lots of fruits too. She taught me how to cook and lots of jelly and jam making. The weekends I spent helping with the canning.
That's what I am now doing with my grandkids. They're teenagers and all learning how to cook, bake, garden, and canning. Hopefully they'll have the great memories to pass on.
I love the bones & skin in the canned fish!! And they are good for us!!
Do you happen to have a good tried and true strawberry jelly recipe? I would always rather have one from a actual person that something randomly found online! I just ordered about 12 quarts of berries and want to make jam or jelly :D

Meatloaf hack: put some mix in the bag and use the bag to form the loaf
I have 4 kids ranging in age from 30 to 17 so I am fascinated by the huge meal prep that you, Amy Maryon, and Our Tribe of Many do. I do think this huge meatloaf bowl has been the most amazing. Now that I am doing most of the cooking for my aging parents, I'm thinking freezer meals are going to be a good idea. I can fill their freezer for nights I'm not wanting to cook.

I also wanted to give you a big THANK YOU!!! Back earlier last year you done a big shopping haul video. I fell in love with the tee shirts you bought yourself with the chickens and other farm animals on them from Tractor Supply. My favorites have become the different heifer shirts. Ever since November when we moved to our farm we visit Tractor Supply about twice a week lol. Since then my sweet hubby has bought me every heifer shirt they have and now I'm working towards getting all their chicken shirts! I really wish they had a shirt like your judgmental chicken sisters picture you have! So, thank you for introducing me to all the ladies farm shirts!

Loved this inspo, I’m a FTM due in July and live over seas (military wife) so it’s just my hubby and I. We obviously won’t have any help from family or friends, so next month I’m stocking my freezer with meals for us to get us through the first month. Wish us luck, we’re gonna need it!
My mom used to use the empty can to make her patties. she would just fill and press to the size she wanted and turn it upside down on the paper

When we were raising our 9 kids I would make huge meatloaf too. I finally started rolling the mixture into big meatballs. This was so much easier for me to portion and prepare. Kids loved them!
You can also cook meatloaf mix in muffin tins! Little personal portions!
This brings back so many memories of my baby days. I didn't have family around and few friends due to military moves so did a lot of prep beforehand to make life easier!! Only have 1 kid at home now and he's 12.
It's an adjustment now from when his 8 siblings were still at home lol!!!
