First reach joshimath from rishikesh , haridwar, dehradhun. From here you have to go towards tapovan and niti village. Taxi are available. On this route you have to come to base of subhai village from where the trek starts. The trek aing with accomodation is covered in the link. Swami ji’s kuti is 200 mtrs away from the main temple but getting an audience with him is pure luck.
