    And here is Vane Hill itself as seen from Waldon Hill, Torquay. Once again, as a Torquay boy born and bred, I found this excellent video to be both fascinating and dramatic and I thank you for posting it here on UA-cam! The three blocks of flats built with yellow brick on the top left hand corner are called Shirley Towers and were built in the mid 1960's. I well remember as a small child, watching them being constructed there on Vane Hill Road where I also lived throughout my youth. This location was often used soon after then as a substitute view of Monte Carlo for various television series, most notably 'The Saint' starring Roger Moore. The main body of sea is called Tor Bay and in the distance on the horizon you can see the small fishing town of Brixham. Once again, thank you for including this video to you amazing collection, all of which are superbly presented.
