You will love it here, especially in June when all the sky is blue and the weather is warm, just sitting outside on the seafront after nice food and drink is amazing. Simple but heavenly.
Explain: There is such a tropical climate because the gulf stream comes directly in there. That's also the reason why there are so many palm trees. It looks like you are in L.A or something :D
Wow I’ve never been to England before but the place you are at is pretty and a tourist attraction. I don’t know if it’s just me but it looks a little like Montreal, Quebec City. Cool.
I've lived here all my life and lemme tell you, the Land Train brings back so many memories from when I was like 6. Im so lucky to live here. Hate it at night tho, too many druggies 😂
Eden's Family so you would recommend it to live ? Is it diverse in terms of people and are they accepting of all people ? I’m thinking here to live but like open minded places for better atmosphere
@@jimneysweep9810 There are all kind of people. I've met people from Muslim community, south Africa, french nationals, Spanish, Asian. It's a holiday destination. I am Asian, I have Spanish wife, my best friend is black and I haven't experience racism or hate here.
Eden's Family hey thank you for reply . That sounds great ! Sort of place I like . I am happy to hear that . I look forward to a visit . All the best to you and thank you for great videos
We've been living in Torquay (Belgrave road B&B) for over a year now and we have not face any problem. It's very much depends on where in Torquay, there are lovely areas but also some rough bits. There are some nice villages around Torquay, too. Just like any town in the UK, I'd say not to live near town center, and do extensive research and regular visits before your move in any area. It's a big commitment after all. For me, it's a lovely place to live, because of the seafront area, the connection town like Babbacombe, Brixham, Paignton and Cockington. I do visits town roughly once a week during the day time, have not spot any issue. Rarely, I visit town at night, it is just like any town in the UK, typical stuff. I often visits the seafront area, and the Abbey Park (I have a dog) even at very late at night (9pm - 10pm) I have not spot any issue or any anti-social issue at all, even on a Friday night. Places I'd probably avoid are: Torquay - Hele village, Barton / Watcombe, town centre, Torre Nice places: Torquay - Ilsham Marine Drive (but you'd need to be a millionaire), Cockington, Babbacombe / St. Marychurch, Shiphay, Ellacombe, Hollicombe I do love it here, because of where I’m from, Torquay is nothing compare to where I’m from, so I do feel safe, oddly. Positive mind attract positive things. : ) good luck!
No. Do not ive lived here all my life and I can honestly say that it isn’t a good place to live although the beach area looks nice the people are a different story everyone is rude streets are filled with crack heads racer boys late at night and chavs threading you every where you go so no do not move here
I still live with my parents, so when we go on vacation it's a family thing. My friend could probably do it, since she owns a rabbit from the same place, his monther's sister
Visit ellacombe 😂😂 or factory row with all spice heads, Torquay has a dirty underbelly and lots of junkies, it’s not what it used to be, it’s a shame coz it was a cool place to live
Yeah, but we are being very positive :D There are certain area that feel a bit strange, but there are nice area, too. I think we worked out where it is nice now and which area we should avoid during certain time of day. Really wish it wouldn't have to be like this, though. We are living here now for about 4 months. And we only had one incident where we saw homeless was chasing each other in daylight. -__-
Eden's Family well mostly its the litter here it's really bad, also the drunks at the top of town are a problem and sadly the homeless population is increasing
Ah~ I've also noticed litters while out walking in the morning (over flow litter bin, broken glass on floor) and noticed a few homeless too. We pay a lot of council tax, I just wish they step up their game on these matter. My family currently have a BnB there at the top of the Belgrave Road. Luckily, no issue with drunkies so far.
I love it when I go on a weekend break up country. Everyone asks where I come from. When I reply 'Torquay', it's always the same response; Nice part of the country, lucky. I reply to this with the truth: 'Try living in real Torbay for just a few months, you'll realise what a shitehole it really is'.
I was thinking more of the chav scum that walks the streets of virtually all the centralised area of Torquay, and the further regions such as Hele and South Barton!
Luckily not, so far. There are a lot of foreigners here and I've been out almost everyday cruising on the e-skate around the seafront even at night time alone.
I live here! Truly beautiful! Always on the beaches and eating fish and chips with ice cream 🍨❤️
We get mixed review on Torquay, but we love it here
Yeah I love living here too, we do the best fish and chips
It's truly beautiful..I've been there a few times..My children still ask to go there again when we have time.
My fiancé just booked 4 days at the Imperial Hotel for our honeymoon this June :D it's so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing this cute little video! 😊

Simple is sometimes the best :) I'm really looking forward going!
Would u marry him if he earned less than you?
I was there beautifully❤☀️

You're right! But right now, there is so much rain :(
@@NiftyNiniandlalalatte yeah that's true xdd
The weather is just random here lol
Wow I’ve never been to England before but the place you are at is pretty and a tourist attraction. I don’t know if it’s just me but it looks a little like Montreal, Quebec City. Cool.
You are right, it does look like Montreal, Quebec City, You have very good eyes!
Very beautiful
Thank you x
This seems more like a town in the Mediterranean than somewhere in England!
Yeah, I love the seafront when it's all warm and sunny. Magical place.
Ahahaha, well when it’s not raining lol. I live here and nice sunny weather is always when the beaches are full
I've lived here all my life and lemme tell you, the Land Train brings back so many memories from when I was like 6. Im so lucky to live here. Hate it at night tho, too many druggies 😂
Been here 2 years now. And I love it. I'm always at the seafront and had no problem, even late at night, and very early in the morning like 3am :D

Amazing place. Anyone please, would you recommend to relocate here from London for an expat family with child?

Can't wait for my stay in June
Weather should be amazing here in June!
LOVELY LAND
I now it filled with them I take my family on a 6 hours to go there on holiday but to scary
So pretty! I wish I could travel but kenneling four animals isn't easy or cheap. Dogs and cat is easy, but the bun needs someone good to care for him
Definately! The bun are very picky on who's the handler is. Normally they would feel comfortable with the same family always.
I still live with my parents, so when we go on vacation it's a family thing. My friend could probably do it, since she owns a rabbit from the same place, his monther's sister
Get hanburys from Babbacombe trust me. Best fish and chips ever lol
I know the shop! As you said. Completely true.

We haven't been to Ellacombe. We don't know that area. But we will explore and might make a video. Thanks for a suggestion.
We don't go to ellacombe after dark...no one does...in the night...in the dark.

Interesting. Why is going down hill? We’re interested to know more.

Not as bad now. Since if you live in a posh side of town. But it does in need of a good clean-up : )
I was thinking more of the chav scum that walks the streets of virtually all the centralised area of Torquay, and the further regions such as Hele and South Barton!
Shitehole ! Come on man yes it has its bad parts where doesnt ? Its still a hell of a lot better than many places !
I live here, sadly in nothing like this anymore some of it’s a lovely view some of it ain’t.
