I love how you described what LP makes you feel . . .their voice is home to me. I cant describe it any other way. No matter what song they sing, I feel something strongly. And, goosebumps . . . All the of time.
I think their new stuff is amazing too. They seem to have changed directions with their music a bit, catering more to the European fan base. It makes sense because that's where LP is truly appreciated. But I'm a fan for life.

Thank you for saying that. LP has been one of the best finds on my channel. It doesn’t matter what genre you listen to….LP is an amazing artist. I need to listen to Love Lines. I’ve heard some negative things about it regarding switching up style for this album. But we all grow as humans and we can’t expect artists to always stay the same. How boring would that be? I have no idea why they aren’t bigger in the states!

Never heard more than a 15 second clip of the original, didnt really move the needle either way for me personally. After hearing this, I have no desire to even bother listening to any other version than LP's. Magical & Ridiculous in all the best ways possible.
She’s a force for sure. I can’t get enough of LP. And I felt the same about this song.
She is fantastic I love people who can do a cover and make there her own like Eva Cassidy they put their heart & Soul into it they redefine the song. 💙
So apparently she co wrote Halo but didn’t get any credit for it. So I was so happy she got to sing this & she absolutely killed it. I just get goosebumps all over when I hear her sing live. So talented!

Thank you for your reaction:) My fav LP's live performance is Tokio Sunrise from Freiburg (2018). I first saw LP in 2017. Since then I've been to 7 of her concerts, mostly in Europe. She is so amazing, talented, hardworking but sometimes she is losing concentration during live performances;) IMHO Love Lines is a great album (I love Blow and Wild) with some fresh vibes but my favorite is still Lost On You. I have all her albums except Heart Shaped Scar. Amazing voice, great charismatic and also complicated personality. And, as a songwriter, absolutely hitmaker. Greetings from Poland:)
