EXACTLY!!! By the way people, this doesn’t mean she was unhappy when she was single. You get used to being single, and then once you’ve met the RIGHT person, there’s just an overwhelming feeling of shock and happiness when you’re used to being alone and then someone comes into your life and does the little things that make you so happy that normally only you would do for yourself. It’s the same feeling (but way better!) as when someone pays for you in front of the drive thru or someone at work does something really nice.

Loni has a good heart. The fact that James making her coffee made her cry is so touching. I got tears in my eyes. There is something about someone who not only cares about us but shows us through their actions that is so powerful. And it is so important to know what you value in life. It's also important to know what you need from a partner. Sometimes it's not fancy things. People often forget that sincere interest and making someone feel safe is of value.

I think loni wasnt really happy when single. She always joked about it but it was more like defense mechanism. She always wanted someone to love and share her love with.
She used to make a joke out of everything too and I think that was a defense mechanism so she didn’t get emotional. I love that her walls are more down now, it makes me want to cry seeing her cry.

As someone thats been watching The Real for the past 7/8 years im getting emotional watching this.coz all these ladies have transformed so beautifully...Loni went from being passive about relationships to crying over a cup of coffee...Adrienne now believes in PDA...Jeannie is submissive and has a baby...its like a whole different set of women and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
Also,everytime Loni starts crying i burst out laughing coz it always happens soo unexpectantly but at the same time shes always crying...James has really shown us how sensitive this woman is!

I think she always held in emotions and always kept her feelings of being lonely bottled up trying to be nonchalant and acting tough always being the comedian.You can only do that for so long until you have to be honest with yourself.
Loni makes an important point. We really have seen the ladies of this show develop over the years. We really don't get that from other shows. Discussions like these have also given me so much food for thought and have helped me to grow as well.
You really notice how they've evolved when you binge watch past episodes.
It's so interesting you say that as I was talking with my partner about it the other day. I was telling him how refreshing it is to watch a show with real people sharing their real feelings and emotions alongside watching them grow. They aren't characters like we see in many other shows.

Then why the hell are they thinking about cancelling it?!! Aren't they canvassing social media? Seeing how much folks love and resonate with this show? If ratings are down then try different things, brainstorm on how to get them back up (imo its different but as good if not better than its ever been) but try to salvage it. This show is a freakin public service and worth rhe freakin effort! Wendys been on for years dishing out nothing but trash, tackiness and the worst of human failings for all to snicker and laugh at and has lasted for years. This show with all its positivity and worthiness can't just be thrown out just like that. Not fair! ....but what in life is ...smh

Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tamar Braxton have shown that on and outside the show as well, but it’s been beautifully touching to see this showcased and exemplified by these exceptional and beautiful ladies throughout the years, since season 1 and even the pilot season, all the way to now... To know that you can change and develop throughout the years and it be positively beneficial for you, and not be scary or detrimental to your life, _IS_ truly inspiring to see. 🙌🏾🌟☀️🌸🌺🌼✨

I am like that. 1st, hormones as we age fluctuate madly, as we know. Also, when we have deep pain or voids yet keep on pushing, pressing and giving to others, our sensitivity to what we are deprived of - sky high.

As a stay at home mom to an autistic child, the day can be overwhelming. My husband always reassures me that we are a team and to never feel like I can’t vent or express myself to him. He is not only physically present for our family he makes the effort to be emotionally present as well (something he lacked in his childhood). We make an effort to pour into our marriage, our child and ourselves. There is nothing like the feeling of knowing some HAS you. I feel so blessed to have found that. That cup of Sunday morning coffee is everything to Loni….that act of genuine care. There is nothing like it.
Same here. Sometimes I’m so forgetful with all the appointments, my husband helps me by carrying our little one’s stuff out to the car, or putting some ice in my coffee. He’s always reading all the therapist’s daily progress note and attend parent meetings if needed. I’m blessed to have a thoughtful, hard working husband who understands all our needs.

Say what you want about this show but I really appreciate these types of conversations. I love that they have different women talking about different perspectives from their different experiences and age groups. I really appreciate that and hope that they aren’t canceled.
It really is the little things. Thank you Loni for sharing and being vulnerable. I recently got to experience this and it has really been a game changer for me. Now my standards have been raised and I know how I deserve to be treated. It especially feels really good when you've been used to shitty treatment and also haven't been treating yourself well in the first place. It really is about self love and then attracting a loving partner into you life.

The one valuable thing that I’ve taken away from this show was learning how to be happy on my own like Loni has always preached from the very beginning. People tend to always look to others to make them happy and remain in toxic relationships just for the simple fact of not being alone which is sad. Being alone and getting to know yourself on a deeper level is the best feeling in the world. Then, and only then, will you be ready to recognize what real love is and find the person that’s truly meant for you just like Loni did.
