I don’t normally comment on skin .. but I have been a working beauty therapist for 37 years … skin is a clever organ and when it’s had enough it’s had enough . I find the beauty world is out of control and people are using way to many products and generally the wrong thing at the wrong time . And over using Active products . Your skin is telling you stop .. meaning everything is an autoimmune issue . Try and use only 1 brand at any one time . Don’t use any vitc rentiol on your skin at the moment . Keep it simple . Your skin will heal its self but it’s not a fan of stress . I wish I could help you but Australia is way too far away . If you can get hold of a French brand called SOTHYS and use the Repair Balm you will thank me for it . Lovely video as always and thank you xx

I have to say… I think the journey you have now chosen on social media as an influencer has changed dramatically, it feels like you have now found your niche, and in my mind a large percent is no longer a generic influencer, instead it seems like a different vlog, introducing us to some lovely and inspiring parts of life which can mostly be achieved from whatever background you come from. Not everything is about money, sometimes these little insights into ways to improve our being is as interesting as the next dress to buy !! A lovely vlog Lydia 🎉❤

Today I did my workout straight after work so I could have my shower (hair wash day and it's a process with curls) so that I could eat and be ready with a nice cup of maté 🧉to watch Lydia's vlog. The vlogs are so relaxing and calming, that I didn't want to "ruin" the calmness it gets me in by hurrying off to the gym afterwards! 😅
Can't wait to get your living room reveal! I've been out if my home for 5 months as it's going through a full renovation. Longing to be back home (june 28th) and start deciding on wall paints! Anyway, I'll stop writing now so I can actually watch the vlog! 💚

I think your tuning in and listening to what your body needs Lydia, which is amazing. I suffer from the same skin condition and had a big flare up - in panic I changed up products and added more into my routine which just made it worse. In the end I completely stopped all products apart from an organic miscellar water in the evening. Your skin goes through a detox stage and gets worse before it gets better. I’m now on my own journey creating my own brand of skincare which uses natural and organic products and emphasises the importance of a simplified skincare routine. I wouldn’t look back! Sometimes less is definitely more. Good luck on your journey lovely lady! You are an inspiration ❤🎉

Do you mean the green Moira dress? I think it would look fabulous on a fuller figure! It doesn't even matter anyway, any body is beautiful, I understand wanting to dress in a flattering manner for your body type but one shouldn't let it hinder you too much!

I’m just a few minutes in but you’re talking about your skin changing again and possibly needing to change your products.
I am turning 50 in a few months and have 2 daughters in their 20’s.
I will tell you from personal experience… it’s most likely hormonal related.
I noticed when I turned 30 then 35 then 40 then 45 and now 50 that every 5ish years or so… my skin,hair and body keep changing.
I keep it super simple because I have sensitive skin… I use Purity face cleanser and Kiehls face lotion. I also use serum(Lancôme) most evenings under my moisturizer and I do use Cliniques face moisturizer with an SPF when I know I’m going to be spending some time outside. My skin also loves the FRESH brand which I alternate🤍

I seem to remember around 36/37 my skin went terrible and it was just stress and working too hard. I changed all my skin products as they were too harsh and went for organic products from Holland and Barrett and my skin settled quickly.
I live in a similar climate in the north of Iran and I love those sudden pouring rain sounds [ of course in the case of not being outside the house 😅]

Lydia up you Vit D , my brother who lives over in the uk was blood tested and was tired not feeling well and he was low in Vit D you guys have have had little sunlight over there, we are heading into our winter and it’s been lovely so far very dry and sunny days hugs from Nz xx

Just a tip if speaking is easier for you than writing: there is an app/programm which will set the spoken word over into writing. I used that back in the "stone age" 😂 as a minute taker for conferences etc. Meetings were recorded and sent to me. You install it on your computer/laptop and through this programm it was "set over" into text, so all I had to do, was edit it. Maybe something for you? Saves a lot of time!! ❤

Just a thought as a 70 yo RN to a young woman experiencing cycle changes, please research perimenopause. No, 36 is not too young . We need to do better at educating young women.
I agree my cycle was so erratic from the age of 36 and my period stopped completely at 40 my mum was the same ❤
Omg I'm 36 and last year my periods started going bananas and I thought I was prematurely perimenopausal. I saw my ob-gyn and got an ultrasound and she told me I wouldn't be hitting menopause for many years yet. Now I just think it was due to a s**tload of stress and some health issues I'd been through - but it was a huge scare
