We have been looking forward to this one ever since we played the masterpiece that is the first game. What is going to happen to Ellie and Joel this time around? We can't wait to find out!

Spoiler free: this just came up randomly in my recommendations , but after completing the game and on my second playthrough , different difficulty and trying to 100% it. I really enjoyed it , I'm gonna get backlash and I don't care. I fucking like what I like and you like what you like. Sure there were some flaws and storyline elements that made you go wtf, but it just felt real , dense and gritty. Like how a post apocalyptic world should be , not everything is peaches and cream. The game play was tremendous and it's just beautiful visually. Sure some parts I hated , but nothing can be perfect. I just think TLOU1 sat the bar so Hugh , people had enormous expectations. And plus them people who leaked it didn't help the tone , but you have to play it and experience it your self , it's riveting and it'll make you feel all sorts of emotions , and that's what I want from any form of entertainment, music films games etc. If it's not for you that's fine , if you liked it but hated the story cool too! And if you adore it like me , then that's awesome but don't bash other people for liking or hating something you may dislike or like , just fucking petty. Imo, this is a 9 out of 10 game for me!! Just loved how raw it was , not afraid to go to the other side. Not afraid to piss people off or make them cry. Some parts I would change but hey ho, loved it!

@@KatSonny no worries! I'm not an asshole like some people who try to ruin anything! I'm not gonna be Petty and argue with people who don't like it , I'm all ears but I ain't petty. Yeah just the controls get clunky sometimes for me , & some parts I found tedious but like you said only nitpicking! I feel everybody just was jumping on the bandwagon trashing it without experiencing it personally. Yeah that'll be great! Haven't felt so many emotions in a game for a while! In my eyes , a masterpiece

Man this game is a brutal punch in the dick. It's a fantastic story but boy do they touch on some brutal shit.

Loved the original. The story leaks for LoU2 leave me beyond disappointed. Hard pass on this one. Will continue to watch your Horizon & GoW playthroughs though.

I am definitely a little disappointed by the leaks. But I am still willing to give the game a chance just because the first one was too good for me not to give this a chance. Furthermore you have to realize the leaks were malicious and done with the intent to make the game seem worse than it is. You can sum up a lot of stories into a few bullet points to make it look stupid.

@@Ryuu44 it's not about the gameplay, this isn't one of those gameplay matters game, it's a story heavy game which was heavily popularized due to its enriching story in the 1st game, now they ruined it, I wouldn't put any spoilers but those who have read or seen them knows this story just cannot be saved no matter which way you take it
@@sumedhk4148 No, it wasn't ruined. It was spoiled by someone who's intent was to make the game look bad. I wasn't talking about the mechanics but the story. You don't know how it will play out in it's entirety.
The fact that things happen that non of us wanted to happen doesn't make them bad. You said it yourself - the game's story heavy, it's hours and hours of storytelling but you "know" it's "ruined" because of choices you don't like. It's fine if you want to think that. I just think it's dumb. And if the game doesn't deliver? Well that shit happens sometimes.
@@Ryuu44 For what i know, i wont be preordering it, ill wait for its reviews to come out, watch some youtubers reviews on it, maybe then ill change my mind on this game if it does turn out to be good, but until that happens i dont have much hope for this

d.u.p dd Unreasonable? They have never disappointed me with their games, and I am not going to read a bunch of leaks.
I am well aware that they’ve fired a lot of people in the recent years, and the popular opinion right now is to hate on them. But I will give them the benefit of doubt, and play their game when it comes out. You may not want to do the same, and that is totally fine, but don’t call me an unreasonable fan boy, when clearly, Naughty Dog have earned some sort of loyalty with all the amazing games they’ve put out. Or does one (perhaps) mediocre/bad game wipe away all the goodwill they’ve garnered over the years? Sure there’s stuff I, and many others, don’t know about. I’m not gonna glorify them or anything, cause there’s clearly something going on behind the scenes. But I am just focusing on their games and the work that has come before. So, once again, my “fan boyism” is not unreasonable.
@@KatSonny yeah...riiight... why didn't naughty dog come and tell us that leaked footage,cutscene and story plot is fake? You know why Sony and Naughty dog was striking down the channels because the leaked cutscene is from final product. If they were fake they would have said that we don't acknowledge the leaks. They just say shut up and if you don't like our game get the fuck out of here.
The honorable games that they gave us made you blind and you don't wanna see what's going on with naughty dog from 2014
I've played all of the uncharted games, crash bandicoot series and specifically original last of us but you know why I'm not blind with these game because I follow the behind the scene stuff
It's gonna be sacrificing characters for just SjW bullshit movement and also it has a terrible writing and story plot...I miss the story writing of Amy Hennig (like the story of the original the last of us) Ah...it's just...I'm speechless

@d.u.p dd If it is the real story that got leaked, which it probably was, then of course they don't want people to spread it. They have still put in a lot of work, and they want people to buy their product. I don't see any fault in that, and I never said the leaks were fake..
Listen, I also hate the fact that Amy Hennig isn't with Naughty Dog any more, but I am not going to take a "behind the scenes" deep dive with this stuff, because there are too many people involved, too many opposing statements and so on. I care about the end result with these games, and if you wan't to call me a blind fanboy for doing so, then fine by me. I refuse to read the leaks, especially now that you've mentioned "SJW", because that term is being thrown around way too much, and people suddenly see "progressive agendas" everywhere. I will make up my mind, when I play the finished product. That is my choice, please respect that - just as I respect your choice to not play the game.

I was really going into this one with an open mindset, hoping I was *maybe* entering into a discussion with a sensable person who will respect my opinion, if I just tell them why I think my faith in Naughty Dog is not unreasonable.. how stupid of me, huh? And you even blame me for making those story descisions now? What the hell, man.. Naughty Dog shouldn't be judged for how the story has gotten out and then presented to people in a form they did not intend. They should, however, be judged on how the *full* game is when it comes out, and people pay money for a *full* product with all the visuals, music, gameplay, performances etc. on top of the story. Or that is at least how I am going to judge them. I have no idea if that makes sense to you, I am tired and annoyed, and you're probably not going to respect me or my opinion anyway.. damn
